Wait Upon Me
My child, wait upon Me with expectation
As I come to you with great revelation
In unity with Me of heart and soul
Giving a glimpse of glory, your eyes to behold
As I draw back the curtain and release the light
With the eyes of faith, see the holy sight
Of the glory cloud coming at rapid speed
Responding to the saints’ prayerful seed
Hope in Me, I will not disappoint,
Sit with me, your eyes I’ll anoint,
To see how the darkness is put to flight
As I send the heavenly host into the fight
She has waited in the time of preparation
Now the day has come for her elevation
In humble posture before My Throne
I extend My scepter to My Bride alone
The call goes forth for the Bride to arise
Crown her with glory to stand by My side
She eagerly longed for this clarion call
Her heart is true, she has given her all
Sound forth the trumpets and shout for joy
The waiting is over, it is time to employ
Revelation given in the secret place
Heal the wounded with My mercy and grace
Look to the left and then to the right
My army ablaze with a heavenly light
As they march against the darkness this day
In confident assurance I will have My way!
