Wait For The LORD!
4 Words in 1
Know Him as El Roi
Beer Lahai Roi — means the well of the one that lives and sees me!
Hagar running from the abuse of her situation found reassurance in the revelation that the eyes of her King was upon her.
Everything may be a hot mess, you have cried, prayed and cried some more. You shout where are you God.
Take heart, God has put you in a position to get to know Him as El Roi, the God who sees you!
Come Oh come to the well of the One who lives and sees you
Do NOT Fear!
The enemy is looking for a crack in your foundation.
Yes he is patient and he will wait till it is exposed for him and then come rushing in. Be sober! Be vigilant!
Every single one of you has a purpose and calling in God. Make no mistake that if the enemy finds a crack or even a crevice in you, he will walk right in and wreak havoc. Give no place to him!
God wants you to know who you are in Him and expose the lies of the enemy. Leave no open doorway for the enemy.
God said there are some with such a spirit of fear right now and He wants you to know that you can overcome anything through Him and His mighty Power.
If you have any form of fear, the devil will find and expose that crack in your foundation.
I know there is fear and pain, there is worry and strife and we all have it.
Let God place that healing balm in every area and seal every crack and crevice so that your foundation is secure. Then turn around and face that devil and let him know that the sign on your life reads NO VACANCY!
Stop Walking in Circles!
There was a story told of a group of quail that walked in circles around a pole at a marketplace.
Each one had strings attached to their feet. So they just continually walked around this pole, until one day a man passed by this little market where the quail were and bought them all.
He then proceeded to cut the strings from their feet, but without realizing they were free, they continued walking in that same circle.
It was not until the new owner shooed them away did they soar in different directions. They realized then they were free indeed!
You do not have to continue walking in your same old circles! That cloud hovering over you has to go.
There is a new power in operation! That strong wind of His Spirit has freed you from these things.
Jesus has cut the strings from your feet and set you free. He said, “I AM The Way, The Truth, and The Life.” John 14:6.
He did not say “I have” or “I know the truth”! Jesus said, “I AM The Truth!”
It is by this Truth you have been set free indeed! Walk in it, own it, and know this freedom he has given to you.
“Where the Spirit of The LORD is, there is FREEDOM!” 2 Corinthians 3:1 emphasis added.
Wait For The LORD!
“LORD, this is a very dark place. I don’t understand why you would put me here. It is uncomfortable and stretching me too far. I cannot see any light in here. I keep hoping for a change. I keep thinking ,”Why me!”
Will I ever come out of here? I am tired of this dark place. I am trying find the way out myself to no avail. Have you just left me here? I can see nothing else but this cold darkness and complete silence.”
This is His reply!
If He should tear open a cocoon too soon to set it free, the creature’s wings will be severely underdeveloped.
This is because the very act of struggling to leave the cocoon strengthens the butterfly’s wings, preparing it for flight.
We too shall have times of transition and metamorphosis, though the remedy is not unlike the butterfly’s, but very much the same..
If we try escaping God’s cocoon before He’s done transforming us, we risk undermining and delaying what He’s trying to do with us. When gold goes into the fire, it still comes out gold!
“I know it may feel dark right now, unpleasant and a very tight place, but just relax! For I AM in the midst of this,” saith The LORD right now to your discouraged heart.
In the stillness, you will hear Him. In the intense waiting, your character will be formed. If you wait upon God and allow Him to release you from the cocoon when he is ready, you will be stronger and prepared to emerge in ways you never could have if you would have left the cocoon too soon.
I am still confident of this; I will see the goodness of The LORD in the land of the living. Wait for The LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for The LORD.
“I would have lost heart, unless I had believed that I would see the goodness of The LORD In the land of the living. Wait on The LORD; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; wait, I say, on The LORD!” Psalm 27:13-14.
