Wage The Good Warfare On The Highway of Holiness
I wrote this Word many months ago when The Holy Spirit suddenly led me to go and study Isaiah 35.
I had studied the chapter various times, and previously even used verse 3 together with Hebrews 12:12-13 in praying powerfully for the healing of my elderly mother’s limbs.
At the beginning of this week, The LORD instructed me to now release the Word.
Isaiah 35 is one of the most glorious chapters of Scripture, very confidence-building with beautiful flow of Hope.
Look at the joyful, blossoming Words of verses 1-4:
“The wilderness and the wasteland shall be glad for them, and the desert [the wilderness/ wasteland/ desert. symbolise testing, wearying life of difficulty, hardship, struggles] shall rejoice and blossom as the rose; It shall blossom abundantly and rejoice, even with joy and singing. The glory of Lebanon shall be given to it, The excellence of Carmel and Sharon. They shall see The Glory of The LORD, the excellency of our God. Strengthen the weak hands, and make firm the feeble knees. Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.“
Wow! Let’s declare and proclaim that last line together; say it audibly: “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, with the recompense of God; He will come and save [us].”
Oh YES! Jesus Christ, the “Faithful and True” (Revelation 19:11) will come and save us! Therefore, be strong, do not fear!
Our FAITHFUL God will come through for you gloriously; just hold on. Continue to fight the GOOD fight of faith, wage the GOOD warfare.
As I was typing that last line, The Holy Spirit reminded me of the chorus of that old Pentecostal song, “God Never Fails” by Charles Nicks. (I found this clip by Friendship Baptist Church Sanctuary Choir):
“God never fails, God never fails
He abides with me, He Gives me victory
For God never fails
Oh, just keep the faith and never cease to pray
Just walk upright, call Him noon, day, or night
He’ll be there, He’ll be there
There’s no need to worry for God never fails
I’ve seen trouble and I’ve seen pain
But I’ve learned to call on my God’s Name
He never left me, He never turned His back on me
For God never fails
My money was low and my friends were few
I found myself cryin’, I didn’t know what to do
But, I reached in my Word and then I was renewed
Because my God never fails
God never fails
God…
God never fails
(I want you to know that My God) No, my God never fails
(I’ve tried Him and I know He won’t…) God never fails
(He’ll be right there, yes, He will) No, my God never fails.”

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. (Hebrews 10:23).
“For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my Helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” Hebrews 13:5-6.
“Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done The Will of God, you may receive the promise” Hebrews 10:35-36.
Daily, nightly, always ask for grace. Ask that His Grace be sufficient for you and His Strength made perfect in your weakness, (2 Corinthians 12:9).
With the greatest hope, the rest of Isaiah 35 BEAUTIFULLY flows with The Spirit and Power of God:
“Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb sing. For waters shall burst forth in the wilderness, and streams in the desert. The parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water; in the habitation of jackals, where each lay, there shall be grass with reeds and rushes.
A Highway shall be there, and a Road, and it shall be called The Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be for others.
Whoever walks The Road, although a fool, shall not go astray. No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it; it shall not be found there.
But the redeemed shall walk there, and the ransomed of The LORD shall return, and come to Zion with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads. They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away,” Isaiah 35:5-10 emphasis added.
Oh THANK You, JESUS! Look what The Holy Spirit has just revealed to me. The ‘Highway‘, the ‘Road‘ in Isaiah 35 called ‘The Highway of Holiness’ is The Blood of Jesus! The PRECIOUS Blood of Christ!
The Blood of Jesus Christ is THE Way by which we the redeemed of The LORD enter The Holiest, The Throne of Grace. The Office of God Almighty!
And that is exactly what The Word says in Hebrews 10:19-20.
“Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter The Holiest by Blood of Jesus, by a New and Living Way which He consecrated for us, through The Veil, that is, His Flesh.”
Hallelu-YAH!
What is your need? What is your problem?
With boldness, go to God by The Blood of Jesus Christ His Son. Fight and swiftly overcome the devil and his evil hordes with The Blood of Jesus Christ.
The Way of The Blood is NEW and LIVING; The Way of The Blood is ALIVE and ALL-POWERFUL!
Do you know why? Leviticus 17:11 says that “the life of flesh is in the blood”. Thus, The VERY Life of The Flesh of Jesus Christ, yes, His Divine Life is in His Blood!
This Way, The Blood of Jesus, is NEW and LIVING. It is ALIVE with The Life and Power of The Living God!
And, on this Way, The Highway of Holiness; on this Way, The NEW and LIVING Way; on this Way, The Blood of Jesus:
- The unclean shall not pass over it…..
Those practicing sin cannot go by The Way of The Blood. Oh, hunger and thirst for righteousness and be BLESSED! You can NEVER have it any other way.
As The LORD Jesus commanded,
“Seek first The Kingdom of God and His Righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.“ Matthew 6:33.
“Therefore… let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance The Race that is set before us,” Hebrews 12:1.
- Whoever walks The Road, although a fool, shall not go astray.
Why? Because The Road is The Blood of Jesus, Who is The “Greater than Solomon here”, (Matthew 12:42).
You can’t miss The Way when you depend on The Blood. You can’t go wrong when you go by The Blood, when you apply The Blood, plead The Blood, pray The Blood.
- No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast go up on it; it shall not be found there.
Aha! Who is the lion and the beast? The devil, the serpent!
As written,
“…I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion….” “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour,” 2 Timothy 4:17; 1 Peter 5:8.
“Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which The LORD God had made…” Genesis 3:1.
The Blood of Jesus is the ultimate no-go area for the devil. Keep under The Blood, keep in Way of The Blood and keep the devil away).
- But the redeemed shall walk there, and the ransomed of The LORD shall return;
“Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter The Holiest by The Blood of Jesus, by a New and Living Way which He consecrated for us, through The Veil, that is, His Flesh, and having a High Priest over The House of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with Pure Water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful,” Hebrews 10:19-23.
- And come to Zion with singing, with everlasting joy on their heads.
“But you have come to Mount Zion and to The City of The Living God, The Heavenly Jerusalem…
…. to Jesus The Mediator of The New Covenant, and to The Blood of Sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel,” Hebrews 12:22,24.
- They shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
“And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away. Then He Who sat on The Throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these Words are true and faithful”,” Revelation 21:4-5.
My beloved brethren, it is all sorted and settled on The Cross of Christ for our taking. Boldly, endlessly stand on and decree, declare, proclaim The Living and Powerful Word of God for your victory.
“But thanks be to God, who gives us The Victory through our LORD Jesus Christ,” 1 Corinthians 15:57.
“Now thanks be to God who always leads us in Triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses The Fragrance of His Knowledge in every place,” 2 Corinthians 2:14.
We fight in Victory for victory.
Take the fight to the devil; he WILL flee from you in terror! (James 4:7; 1 Peter 5:8-9).
Be strong in The LORD and in the power of His might. (Ephesians 6:10) Break down and clear out Satan’s siege against your life and family.
Pray The Blood of Jesus Christ to stop and destroy the devil out of the way.
Obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.
AMEN!
“The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His Face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His Countenance upon you, and give you peace,” Numbers 6:24-26.
“The LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:22.
“Farewell” Acts 15:29.
~ Jacob Awagah
Jacob, an apostle of Jesus Christ by The Will of God, according to The Promise of Life which is in Christ Jesus, (2 Timothy 1:1). As John was, Jacob is the disciple whom JESUS loves, (John 13:23;19:26; 20:2; 21:7,20). And like Paul, Jacob is “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
“And having been perfected, He became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.
