Use the full Measure Given You

In Romans 12:3, the Apostle Paul talks about the “measure” of faith that has been given to each of us. He states this to let us know that everyone’s measure isn’t the same.

Hebrews 11:6 tells us that without faith, it is impossible to please God. So one can conclude that the measure in which each individual is capable of pleasing God, is related to the measure of faith that they are given.

But now let me expand your thinking…

A couple of years ago, the LORD spoke a powerful revelation to me about this scripture. He said;

“To each has been given a measure. But what one doesn’t realize is that once they reach that measure, they can ask me for more, and I will not refuse them. But the problem with my children is that most don’t even use the full measure they’ve been given; therefore their cups never overflow,” (Psalm 23:5).

Five years ago, I went on a forty-day fast to obtain the fruit of love. But what started as a forty-day fast, turned into a five-year journey. In this process, the LORD taught me that Love is in layers; like an onion. Once you peel one layer, you find that there’s another, and another, and another.

1 John 4:8 tells us that “God is Love.” This means that God didn’t make love, and he doesn’t contain love; HE IS LOVE! There are many layers to God, and what man can contain God?

The same goes with faith. The more faith you have, the more you can obey. The more you obey, the more you die to flesh. The more you die to flesh, the more you can walk in the spirit. The more you are lead by the spirit, the more the LORD will use you. The more the Spirit of the LORD can have His way, the more blessings you will receive. And so on, and so on.

So my challenge for you today is; use the full measure that has been given to you. And then ask for more…

The Body of Christ

If you take a body and make a business out of it; is that not prostitution?

This is what America has done with the Body of Christ. It has turned the church into a business, and therefore has prostituted the Body.

The church is NOT a building, it is a body.
