Shut the doors of the sanctuary if you plan on bringing God an unworthy sacrifice of worship!

This morning in prayer, The LORD spoke to me The Book of Malachi, the 1^st chapter regarding the unworthy sacrifices and worship the Body of Christ have offered unto Him, because of the pride of the hearts!

He said that many people do not value Worship in the Assembly, and when they come, it is all for show and for performance, because they are doing it for a show and to be seen of men!

He said to me how that many in the Church are like unto Esau who did not value his birthright, but sold it for a morsel of bread and pottage of lentils! (Genesis 25:31-34).

He said that after Esau recognized what he had done, he tried to build, but God refused to allow him and instead knocked it all down, because he did not put God first, but gave Him an unworthy sacrifice (Malachi 1:4).

But Jacob The LORD loved, because Jacob took noticed and he went after God with all he had! Yes, Jacob had some faults but the reason God honored Jacob was because his sacrifices and his worship was real where as all Esau thought about was his own belly!

Many in this season, God will not allow to build, because they are not worthy and like Esau, The LORD said they do not value the relationship they have with The LORD!

The LORD said to those in the sanctuary,

“Isn’t it true that a son honors his father and a worker his master? So if I’m your Father, where’s the honor? If I’m your Master, where’s the respect?”

GOD-of-the-Angel-Armies are calling you on the carpet: “You priests despise me! “You say, ‘Not so! How do we despise you?’ “By your shoddy, sloppy, defiling worship. “You ask, ‘What do you mean, “defiling”? What’s defiling about it?”

When you say, ‘The altar of GOD is not important anymore; worship of GOD is {no} longer a priority,’ that’s defiling. And when you offer worthless animals for sacrifices in worship, animals that you’re trying to get rid of-blind and sick and crippled animals-isn’t that defiling? Try a trick like that with your banker or your senator-how far do you think it will get you?” GOD-of-the-Angel-Armies asks you.

“Get on your knees and pray that I will be gracious to you. You priests have gotten everyone in trouble. With this kind of conduct, do you think I’ll pay attention to you?”

GOD-of-the-Angel-Armies asks you, “Why doesn’t one of you just shut the temple doors and lock them? Then none of you can get in and play at religion with this silly, empty-headed worship. I AM not pleased.

The GOD-of-the-Angel-Armies is not pleased. And I don’t want any more of this so-called worship!” Malachi 1:6-10 MSG emphasis added.

The priests, those called to keep the fire burning in the temple, instead used it for performance and to give God useless and degrading worship of the flesh, that God said He wouldn’t accept.

Instead, He pleaded with them to shut the doors, instead of continuing to defile His Name in both His eyes and the eyes of the people!

God let the priests know,

“I AM honored all over the world. And there are people who know how to worship me all over the world, who honor me by bringing their best to me. They’re saying it everywhere: ‘God is greater, this GOD-of-the-Angel-Armies,'” Malachi 1:11 MSG emphasis added.

Jesus’ twofold command to the Church at Ephesus: “remember and repent“.

He calls upon the Church at Ephesus to remember the love from which it had fallen. Many have lost their first love whereby you use to desire to give God your best now you give him your left overs and you take the best sacrifices for your self as Esau did!

Your commitment to Truth was a good thing, but unless it is motivated by Love, that of obedience it is not fully pleasing to God, (Revelation 2:1–4).

“Remember therefore, from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works over; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.” Revelation 2:5.
