Unsettlements and Settlements:
Our God is LORD of all seasons!

 

A Calling and a Destiny, involves “UNSETTLEMENTS”!

God was calling Abraham to Unsettle and go to a land unknown of Ai.

All of us dream and desire the blessings of Abraham [Abram]. The very first verse of Genesis 12 leaves us with an impartation of God’s desire for Abraham, and verse 4 on Abraham’s obedience to God’s desire.

A Calling on one’s life is where God’s Desire, meets our Obedience!

The first step in a Calling, is being comfortable to Unsettle! This is a big step of Faith!

God wants us to step out of luxury and lust, to the little and lesser of the world’s standards, which will often be “great “in the Spiritual standards.

An “Unwind “ought to happen at every important juncture of our lives — our desires on the Altar and God’s decisions, concerning us to prevail!

Then follows the Abrahamic Blessing:

“I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.” Genesis 12:2-3

Key: Abraham’s Father ”Terah,” was meant to have set off to this Promised Land of ”Canaan” many years ago.

“Terah took his son Abram, his grandson Lot son of Haran, and his daughter-in-law Sarai, the wife of his son Abram, and together they set out from Ur of the Chaldeans to go to Canaan. But when they came to Harran, they settled there. Terah lived 205 years, and he died in Harran.” Genesis 11:31-32

What was meant for this generation came to hearing through “Abraham”.

God visited Abraham [Abram] after his father’s death to give him his individual “The Abrahamic” Blessing that we know of today.

It was meant for Abraham to Herald this for a generation when he didn’t have a successor to call a “Generation”.

God knew and dreamt of Isaac and all the blessings of Abraham, way before, which demanded obedience to unsettle and settle in a far-off Land!

Do you have Hope in the journey which God is calling you for?

It was the same God Who was with Abraham in Harran — but the Abrahamic Blessing was operational in “Canaan.”

The Blessing will be announced at one place, and function at another place.

Be keen on rendering your hearts and ears to discern, distinguish and demarcate the real. All of us are called to fulfill our destinies in the God-dreamt places and land for us!

May we set forth and possess forth, that which is a blessing to bless Generations!

Most of the time, this calls for us to set forth from our self, to the Divine Destiny which God has in store for us, from our familiar grounds — to the Unknown!

Faith was Abraham’s Token of this Generational blessing!

Set forth! Containments are breaking ground this season, for you to possess what God has planned for you!
