“I do not ask for these only, but also for those who will believe in me through their word, that they may all be one, just as you, Father, are in Me, and I in you, that they also may be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent Me. The Glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one, I in them and you in Me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that you sent Me and loved them even as you loved Me. “ John 17:20-23

• Do you believe Jesus is the Son of God?
• Do you believe He came to pay for our sin and to open the way to God the Father for all who believe in Him?
• Do you believe He was crucified, that He died, and that on the third day, He rose again and lives forever?

If you can say ‘Yes’ to these three questions, then we are in unity.

No matter the theological differences between us; no matter the history between ‘us and them’; we have the basis for unity.

I’ve told this story several times before, but it’s true and carries a powerful Truth.

I was in a meeting once where there were a large number of brilliant theological minds, a large variety of denominational backgrounds, and I daresay, some old ‘enemies’ in the room together.

The LORD made a way for me to bring His Word to that meeting.

What I said brought a thoughtful silence to that place. This is what I said –

“There is a lot of theology in this room tonight, but The LORD would have you leave all your theology, all your learning, at the door.
The LORD would have you come like a child into His presence and to just sit at His feet this evening — otherwise you will miss His heart and what He wants to say to you today.
So come, come like a child into The Throne Room of God.
Sit at His Feet and hear His Word to you today.”

So He says again now, “Unless you come like a child, you can have no part in His Kingdom!”

You can have no part in His unity.

You can have no part in His Spirit, as He moves afresh across our nation – unless you come like a child.

If you do come like a child, however, The Spirit of God will lead you into Unity.

Come like a child, and The Spirit of God will lead you into Repentance.

Come as a child, and The Holy Spirit of God will lead you into Revival.

Unity, Repentance, and a mighty move of God in our Nation, all start at the foot of The Cross — when — and only when — you come like a child.

The LORD keeps telling me to, “Tell them again! They still don’t get it!”
