Two Dogs, Which Are You?
I saw a vision of a dog lying on its back, in front of another dog. For those who understand the body language of dogs, when a dog lays in front of another dog belly up, they are saying they submit to the authority of the other dog.
The underside or belly of the dog is the most vulnerable part they have. So for the dog to go “belly up” says not only that they are submitting to the other dog, they are also trusting that the other dog won’t dive into them and mutilate or kill them with one swift blow to their belly or the underside of their neckline that is also exposed and has a major artery going through it.
Then I saw the next vision. This time the dog was standing, with its back slightly arched, and the hair on its back raised up on end or its’ hackles were up. The dog was also growling at someone or something that they felt was threatening their freedom or control or power.
When I asked the LORD about the dogs, He said, “The dog in the belly up position represents the person who wants to serve Me. They are willing to go “belly up” to humiliate themselves, if need be, to submit to My will, for Me to do with them, as I would want to. They want My will to be done in their lives.
The dog with their hackles up are those who do not trust me, and / or do not want their control taken away from them, as they feel they do a better job of controlling their lives than I do.
They are in rebellion of My ways, and are fighting with Me, although they often feel like they are fighting others, so that they can continue to have their way in their lives. They are often frustrated, angry and worn out, due to their battle with me.
Often times, when the battle is hardest with me, it is because they are going back and forth or up and down, between belly up and hackles. They are confused, often times defiant, and refuse to give in to Me.
Giving in to Me would be so much easier on them. But they are choosing to go the hard way, and for some of these, due to rebellion, pride, willfulness and stubbornness, experience is their best teacher.
So they are choosing the bumps and bruises and everything else life will give them, because they have open doors for the enemy to enter in and have his way. If only they would listen to My heart, instead of their own.”
God Bless You!
