Triple Crown Insights
The Triple Crown:– a series of three races, for three year old Thoroughbreds, run in May and June each year by the National Thoroughbred Racing Association, consisting of the Kentucky Derby, Preakness, and Belmont Stakes.
Each race is a different length and at a different track, with the Kentucky Derby, at Churchill Downs, in Louisville, KY, is 1 ¼ miles, the Preakness, at Pimlico Race Track, in Baltimore, MD, is 1 3/16 miles, and the Belmont Stakes, at Belmont Park, in Elmont, NY, is the longest at 1 ½ miles.
Winning all three of the races is considered the greatest accomplishment in thoroughbred racing. The Triple Crown has only been won by 12 horses. Sir Barton is recognized as the first Triple Crown winner in 1919. American Pharaoh is the most recent winner in 2015.
This year, or in 2016, Nyquist won the Kentucky Derby or the1st race of the Triple Crown. Nyquist was named after a soccer player, which would speak to our love of idols, or putting other things before God, or running away from our “First Love / God”.
Exaggerator won the Preakness, or the second race of the Triple Crown. He was 11th in the Belmont Stakes (3rd race of the Triple Crown). 11 means disorder and judgment, which would still be before the end and all that we are currently in, in the world.
The Belmont Stakes took place yesterday, and was won by “CREATOR” at 1 – 16 odds. He “won by inches”. He ran like a freight train, passing two horses at a time at the end. A $2 bet paid about $33.
The Belmont is the longest race of the Triple Crown, and is often called the “TRUE TEST OF CHAMPIONS.” This is in part because the difficult path that the three-year-olds have had to travel in a few weeks to win two prior races, as well as the length of the Belmont is very long for a three year old to race at 1 ½ miles, due to maturity and development of the horses at that time of their lives.
The 2016 Belmont Stakes is a picture of GOD / “Creator” winning against all comers, with the enemy trying hard to get Him, but missed by inches. Those “betting” / believing in God are the true WINNERS! SO THE TRUE CHAMPION WINS AGAIN!
1 – 16 odds tell you not many “believed” CREATOR would win, which is a picture of the world or that presently not many believe God will win in the end. Or 1 believer for 16 nonbelievers.
But it is up to us, as “believers” to change that perception, through “running with the CREATOR” so that we too, will be “WINNERS” and part of the current “1’s” (1-16 odds) who believe, and are willing to do what it takes to win, like running like a freight train, passing 2 at a time, not giving up, winning by inches!
The “Triple Crown” is a picture of the TRINITY, OR FATHER, SON, AND HOLY SPIRIT!
Those in the racehorse business refer to winning a part of the triple crown as winning one of the “Jewels” of the Triple Crown. Just as our Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all true “JEWELS” to us as believers!
The Belmont Stakes is the final race of the Triple Crown, which shows again, that CREATOR / GOD is the WINNER in the end and final days.
God Bless You!
