How many times as a kid did you ‘suffer’ a broken promise?

How many times did someone speak a curse over you?

Something like —

• you’ll never do any good, or,
• you’re so stupid, or,
• you’re lazy, or even,
• I wish you’d never been born!

How did you feel then, at that moment?

Pretty bad, huh?

Now count how many times someone encouraged you?

Something like —

• you did that well, or,
• you’re very good!

Perhaps someone once spoke about someone you really admired — wouldn’t you like to be like him/her?

Peoples promises often fail — but God’s promises never do.

Peoples curses over you sometimes take root and they become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

God never curses you; He never even puts you down.

Today’s wishes rarely come true.

Tomorrow’s dreams stay just that — a dream.

God, on the other hand, always fulfills.

Sometimes more than we ever dared to dream or imagine.

So, what has been spoken over you prophetically but hasn’t come true — yet?

What dreams has God given you that hasn’t materialised — yet?

God never gives you a word of prophecy, or a dream, without it is intended to happen.

God never says things to tickle your ears.

The Bible says He never sends a word out that doesn’t achieve that for which it was sent.

So why do you think you’re any different?

The caveat on all these things is for you to play your part.

Did you receive your word, your dream, in your heart?

Did you thank God for it?

Did you put it away in your heart, waiting the day for it to happen?

God is saying, today, that it’s time to call in your prophecy, your dream. It’s time to pray it into existence — pray it as if it already were in existence.

This is a year of completion — a year God completes His promises.

Maybe not all of them, but certainly most of those for which you have waited so patiently — perhaps even not quite believing them.

Today is your day to thank God for His fulfilled promises to you and to your loved ones.

Go for it. Just do it !!
