To Prophesy Correctly, Don’t Just Read… Meditate!
The Bible never says “Read the Bible!”
It says to meditate in it day and night.
That word meditate means to chew it over and over like a cow chews its cud, again and again!
When we just read the word religiously and do it as a routine, it becomes a religious habit and when we do that, it also becomes so routine that when we are finished reading it we forget what we read.
Oh, I know, you know what I mean… But meditating in it means that we are continually keeping it in our mind throughout the day and letting it become a part of our lives until it becomes a part of who we are and until it becomes bigger than our own thoughts!
Then we understand who is speaking to us and learn to discern the voice of God!
Then and only then can we prophesy correctly!
“This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success,” Joshua 1:8.
