To Leaders in The Body of Christ
This word is for leaders in the body called to build up and equip.
From the Word, I gather it is for men and women who are afraid of speaking of certain victories the LORD gave to them to overcome areas of weakness.
It is also for certain leaders who feel they need to be strong for the body by portraying themselves in a certain manner so as to not show signs of weakness.
The LORD Jesus Christ Says:
“Be real! Do not be afraid to make yourself vulnerable to My people.
I have given you a life filled with testimonies of My goodness. The word of your testimony is a word of life.
I have not called you to uphold your image with My people but to conform them to My image.
Do not fear, for I have washed away the shame of yesterday, your sins I remember no more but my goodness to you I remember. Consider My servant Paul!”
“For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect,” 1 Corinthians 15:9-10 (NIV).
“But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong,” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10.
