To Know God and His Ways, Are His Gifts to Us!
“But if it is of God, you cannot overthrow it — lest you even be found to fight against God.” Acts 5:39.
To know God and His ways are His gifts to us.
I see people who are upset and in despair, arguing and accusing one another, even saying they can’t believe those who support President Trump can call themselves Christians.
I can’t change anyone’s mind about anything, nor can I change anyone’s heart or open their eyes.
But God really can — and He does it all the time!
My prayers are for everyone; those who profess Christ, those who don’t.
I don’t judge your relationship with Him. You can judge mine if you need to do that.
It doesn’t change a thing for me. I take comfort in His words, and His presence.
I am a Christ follower and I am confident in Him.
Truth says it is God who judges the hearts of men. He is the one who sets up and takes down rulers.
He loves President Trump and President Trump clearly professes Christ if you can handle that.
If you would rather talk about someone’s past or even their present failures, I’d like to see you also acknowledge their successes. Hopefully, others will do the same for you.
I am not vile, nor am I delusional. I clearly see and hear. I will profess Christ with every breath and I will fall short, but He never will.
This scripture my friend shared today is a good place to start considering the kinds of things God does that include myriad details beyond our capacity for understanding. He is good in all His ways.
Fighting against God won’t work.
I have fought Him in my life and He has won.
He has never lost a battle. ❤️

Love the Lord with all your heart. Love your neighbor as you love yourself. Love the Church as Christ loved the Church. The president elect is a man, and therefore, is to be loved as a man. But God alone is the Lord who is to be loved with all your heart. Let God alone sit upon the throne of your heart because the advancement of the Kingdom is he enthronement of the King of Kings upon each person’s internal throne. As more people enthrone Jesus Christ on the throne of their hearts, the Kingdom advances. Whoever sets anyone or anything but the Lord on the throne of their heart damages God’s Kingdom. Love and honor a president, but worship the Lord alone.
To the person who asked for an example of Trumps confession of faith in Jesus, just google “Trump’s confession of faith in Jesus Christ”.
Dear Jill-
What a gentle spirit- a kind way you have of saying your point of view. And it is mine too, based on many words from the Lord, from seeing His words come to pass, and alignment of history, past and present.I know Trump is God’s plan.
I know there will always be those (in the christian community) who will curse God’s choices. We were born in freedom & liberty (& thank God for those who fought to protect our rights to express our differences)- so we can freely speak our minds, in common civility.
Like you – I’ve heard some christians voice their disappointment and anger, that someone not as perfect as Jesus (i.e. Trump] was chosen to lead a nation. I’ve found people who hate Trump have lived comfortably, been safe and sheltered under their nations’ laws to protect them. If their child was in harms way – or they needed help, or 911 – the civil laws to protect the people were in place. Laws came from the biblical template of law & justice – The bible. for back-up. Trump is for the law – those who tried to kill him and destroy him were doing the work of lawbreakers.
Naivete about reality and a over-spiritualized desire for human perfection in leaders – only lasts until terrorism, anarchy, and gross evil take over. 3/4th of the world is/has lives under religious and political oppression. It is only until you really need a leader – not an elected Bishop – to fight for your freedom, and civil protection, that some will finally grasp the reality – the one they thought was the enemy – was actually- the one sent by God- to execute a deliverance.
In war you need a general (global anarchy & deep state, worldwide child trafficking etc etc. The antichrist agenda is rolling across the maps of the world – so we were given a man made of steel and fire — Who could withstand the heat of the pressure against him. Only God could preserve him from 2 (that we know of) assassination attempts.
Time reveals all lies and truth. It exonerates the heroes- and brings low the traitors. It won’t be long till those who’ve hated Trump – will see – it was to protect many people, both here and abroad. Time reveals everything.
The old eastern adage is ‘The one you hated will become your truest friend in times of war’. For many – I suspect it will be Trump. He’s not Jesus- he’s just a man, but I highly respect him for all he’s gone through for us – when he didn’t have to, just as I honor true leaders, in other realms. Thank you.
Amen, the church is in trouble…..God is calling for repentance and change.
God bless
I’m concerned of the level
Of idolatry abounding in the church today.
Where is it holiness to mistreat the alien and the poor? Is holiness likened to the rich man who wouldn’t even feed Lazarus his scraps?
We can’t cherry pick aspects of faith we want when it comes to our Golden Calves.
I await the day Donald Trump will be taken off the altar of men’s hearts
Can you give an example when Trump clearly proclaimed Christ?
Jill, thank you for such such a Beautiful Word today. The scripture also, is so powerful. I’ve been praying for God’s people that their hearts will be aligned to what God is doing for the Nation. God bless and keep you as you continue to remain strong in Him, in Jesus Name.
