To Follow the Flag of MY Kingdom Is More Important!
“32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets: 33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions. 34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens. 35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured, not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection: 36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover of bonds and imprisonment: 37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute, afflicted, tormented; 38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. 39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise: 40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect,” Hebrews 11:32-40.
“Many honored the flag of their fathers yesterday and yet how many of them have honored Me?
For the men and women who served in the military should be honored; for their sacrifice and their willingness to do what they have done, entitles them to the honor that they deserve.
But to follow the flag of My Kingdom is more important.
For it waves its emblem over every heart.
It serves as a reminder of those who have gone before you.
It is one thing to be patriotic, but it is quite another thing to follow the King who has no Kingdom of this earth.
For the time will come when you will search far and wide for the Kingdom that once was.
I tell you that Kingdom is very near you, for it resides in the hearts of those who look to the walls of the New Jerusalem.
Those foundations were erected to stand forever. Those gates of the city will remain forever open. Only those with a pure heart may enter in.
I tell you that your flag will not last forever. It will remain tattered as it waves in the wind. It will serve as a reminder of what you once were.
But for the strength for you to go on, consider those of ancient times who entered into the cities and smote their enemies.
For my children of Israel fought many battles. They wandered in the desert for many long years, and yet I always delivered them from their enemies.
I will give you the strength and resolve to go on in the days ahead. Look to the hands of Him who has fed you from above. I will be with you unto the end.”
From the Father.
