To be known by you!
As I was looking through some Facebook friend’s pages, I went from one to another and it was as if the men and women were speaking to all who would hear them, “I just want you to know me.”
I was struck with the most overwhelming sense of their hearts, wanting someone to know them, know all about who they were and what they loved, and to be interested in their hearts desires,their dreams, their thoughts. They even wanted them to know their families.
I heard the Lord say, “No it isn’t about what you think it is. No, it is about their need to be known by someone who genuinely cares about them.”
Then He said, “AND THAT IS WHAT I HAVE ALWAYS DESIRED ALSO….. MY HEART HAS ALWAYS LONGED FOR YOU TO KNOW ME. I LONGED FOR YOU TO KNOW ME SO MUCH, THAT I GAVE MY SON TO SHOW YOU WHO I WAS AND THEN GAVE HIS LIFE AND PAID FOR YOU TO KNOW ME INTIMATELY.”
“I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the Lord. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart,” Jeremiah 24:7 (NIV).

There they shall be called sons of the living God.”
Ezekiel 36:26-29 (NKJV)
26 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. 27 I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them. 28 Then you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; you shall be My people, and I will be your God. 29 I will deliver you from all your uncleannesses. I will call for the grain and multiply it, and bring no famine upon you.
