Times of Travail for Double Portions
Ugly scenes surround the birth of a child. It is life being delivered and that life carries within it vision and purposes of God.
A mother, pregnant with a child, at birth travails and writhes in pain. But she will forget all discomfort after she delivers, because joy has replaced the hardship she has gone through.
You must be vigilant around the time you are about to break forth, sometimes holding tight to your sword, for many are those who are against your child.
“Before Zion travails she is with child, and before her pain a son was born,” Isaiah 66:7.
A nation was born in a day, because her time had come.
No woman is turned away when her day has come, even if all the wards are occupied.
Today I pray for you to have the strength of a Hebrew woman who does it quickly, before the Pharaoh’s command is executed.
Purposes of God in their small beginnings are welcomed with mockings and ridicule, but I have agreed with you on words of grace and life to come forth.
I am also talking of new levels of grace. The anointing on Elisha was not the anointing on Elijah. What Elisha asked for was a double portion, bit it only multiplied when the mantle fell.
This is the birthing I am talking about. The DNA from something great to even produce something greater.
My day is full of evil and deception. The devil roams and roars like never before. As it was so with the days of Elisha, what was at hand then, required double of the previous. That is why we have the former rains and the latter.
Evil is increased, and that is why in your womb you have a great child, and you must deliver it.
Shalom,
