As I was meditating upon The LORD, He spoke to me that many folks are still driven by what people think; instead of relying upon what God is revealing to them what The Kingdom of God is all about.

Jesus, a man of great wisdom and status, used a simple parable to bring about a heavenly meaning to a natural situation, so that those He taught could understand what it was He wanted to relate unto them.

“Jesus said, “But whereunto shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows, and saying, ‘We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and ye have not lamented.’
For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil. The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children,”“ Matthew 11:16-19 KJV.

Jesus here in this portion of scripture told His disciples that this new generation that has been birthed out was related to the now generation, as those who sat around idle in the market place doing nothing in the market place, calling out to one another and yet no results came about, because no matter what is done they have absolutely no reaction to those calling, piping, eating, or drinking.

Meaning, you can do all you know to do and yet, because the hearts of the people are so calluses and hardhearted, we must not stop doing our part as believers to so graciously celebrate and fellowship in the marketplace to those who seem to be not listening to the invitations that are made!

John the Baptist made a great sacrifice, and he neither ate or drank and yet they criticized him and mocked him, but yet God being so merciful, did not stop there.

He sent His son, and still because of the coldness of the people’s hearts they rejected Him and called him a gluttonous man, winebibber, a friend of publicans and even sinners, but yet Christ gave His all and all and yet the scales on the people eyes blinded them from accepting the wisdom of God to deliver them from captivity!

The LORD is speaking in this season that the Fire of many shall cease and their lights and flames will burn low should they allow the praises of man to motivate them to make the call or sound the alarm based upon how they are received or rejected by those the invitation is extended in this hour!

Those in the marketplace gave a great celebration yet the people was unmotivated to change because their hearts were not receptive or grateful for those making the invitation!

The scriptures say,

“If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whoever {will not}receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.” Matthew 10:13-15.
