Time to eat Real Meat!
Time to eat real meat!
The uncompromising Word of God!
“You have been believers so long now that you ought to be teaching others. Instead, you need someone to teach you again the basic things about God’s word. You are like babies who need milk and cannot eat solid food” Hebrews 5:12.
In this day and time, there is no room and time in the Kingdom of God for true saints to be depending on pacifiers and baby bottles (1 Corinthians 3). Spiritually, times are growing darker and darker and more wicked by the day and if we don’t have the true meat of the word, then our hearts will faint and grow weary (Luke 21)! It is time to preach and to receive words that have nutritional value for the eternal soul! Words that are straight from heaven and from the throne room of God. It is time to have a real feast that consists of heavenly loaves of bread, with the true meat of choice cuts – which is the uncompromised word of God. Covered with anointed gravy from the holy spirit, and served up with desserts that are sweeter than honey! (Psalm 119:103; Ezekiel 3:1-3).
These times are calling for the saints in the Lord to grow up and become spiritual adults. Being able to chew and digest the meat of God’s Word. This is not the time to be spiritual “babies” who are continuously drinking milk and looking for others to prepare baby formula for feedings. It is high time to study the word for ourselves so that we can flourish and grow in the word of God (2 Timothy 2:15). It is time out for complacency and compromise in the body of Christ!
The old adversary, the devil, is not playing games and he is seeking out those whom he thinks that he can wipe out and devour. He wants to destroy and annihilate anyone that he can before they can repent to God. So don’t think that he is coming just to wound someone or to play “patty cakes” or other children’s games. But rather know that his mission is to kill, steal, and destroy (John 10:10). Therefore it is time that we grow up in Christ, nourish our souls with his uncompromised word, and stop playing games with our souls. It is time we realize that we are on a spiritual battle ground. And not on a school playground!
“And he said to me, “Son of man, eat what is before you, eat this scroll; then go and speak to the people of Israel.” So I opened my mouth, and he gave me the scroll to eat. Then he said to me, “Son of man, eat this scroll I am giving you and fill your stomach with it.” So I ate it, and it tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth” Ezekiel 3: 1-3.
