Time for New Angels
This is a special time when God is sending new angels to you! How do you know and catch what God is doing? Let me give you some deeper insight on this supernatural subject.
Being aware of angels
In the Christmas story in Luke chapter 2, the shepherds were terrified because an angel of the Lord appeared to them. Maybe you’ve noticed angels that way, but my guess is that most of us have not had such a powerful, in-your-face experience. Angels don’t usually come with blaring trumpets, splitting the sky.
I have found God’s angels to be much subtler. They can cloak themselves so that they don’t get the glory that belongs rightfully to God . I have learned over the years how to become more aware of the spiritual atmosphere around me, and this includes being aware of different angels.
Most of the time God will help you be aware of angels by understanding their function. You can notice an angel’s purpose by what they do. Here’s an example.
Angel called Love
In 2009 I had several dramatic angelic encounters while in South Africa. Since that time in many of my events, an Angel of Love will show up. I don’t necessarily see this angel with my natural eyes. But I am spiritually aware enough to know that an angel is present. Because of the atmosphere that Love brings, the room is suddenly filled with an overwhelmingly thick and tangible presence of God’s love. Whenever this occurs I have noticed that even after we dismiss the meeting for a lunch break, no one moves. That is a sure sign that God is present!
New angels assigned to you
In November, God showed me that angels are being reassigned right now based on your new assignments.
There are many different kinds of angels. Some are specifically assigned to you and your family. Some will be assigned for the rest of your life, while others are those who are on assignment only for a season. “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” Hebrews 1:14 NIV,
Partner with God
When the shepherds in Luke 2 experienced God’s angels, they did something remarkable afterwards: they responded. The shepherds said, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see,” and then “they spread the word,” Luke 2:15 and 17.
How do you respond? Ask God to show you how to become more in-tune with the spiritual atmosphere around you. Take notes on what you feel and experience when you sense the presence of God.
If you haven’t been aware of angels, don’t worry. They most often cloak themselves so that you are not distracted by their glory and miss what they are bringing to you. God’s angels are sent to you daily to help you in some way.
