Time and Tide
The old phrase, ‘time and tide waits for no man’, came to mind today.
I wasn’t sure why it came to me, nor for what reason. So I waited on The LORD.
I had a brief vision of the tide coming in and of a tsunami following it in to flood the land with God’s Holy Spirit.
I heard The LORD say, “When this tide goes out again, you’d better be in the water or you’ll be left high and dry on the beach!”
Then I heard/ saw, clear as clear, “This tide has a time limit and will certainly not wait. My People, those whom I have called and AM still calling, need to know that their eternity depends upon their response to My Call.”
“Go out to the highways and byways,” says The LORD, “Preach the Gospel.
Find the waifs and strays. Show them My love.
Find the lost. Lead them to safety.
Find the prisoners, visit them, and bring them to freedom.
Find widows, orphans, and the abused. Feed them, clothe them, give them My life-giving water, and show them My Love. They are the fruit I ask you to Harvest today.
Does My Church not know that I will judge them first?” asks The LORD.
“I will judge them against My Great Commission. I will judge them by their fruit. I will judge them by how they, personally, treated the poor, the widows and orphans, the marginalised, and the abused.
Do they not understand that I have not withdrawn My Holy Spirit, I have not changed My opinion of loving your neighbour, nor have I changed My criteria — “Inasmuch as you did something for the least of these, you did it for Me!” [Matthew 25:40]
“As for the shepherds, do they not understand that I shall judge them by a higher standard?
No — My tide shall not wait for anyone.
Time is passing, the tide is coming in now — but it will go out suddenly when you are not expecting it.
Those taken with the tide will be saved, but those left high and dry on the beach will be left — for eternity.”
“And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’
Then He will also say to those on the left hand, ‘Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels: for I was hungry and you gave Me no food; I was thirsty and you gave Me no drink; I was a stranger and you did not take Me in, naked and you did not clothe Me, sick and in prison and you did not visit Me.’
Then they also will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison, and did not minister to You?’ Then He will answer them, saying, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did not do it to one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me.’” Matthew 25:40-45

He has also operated Healing Rooms, and worked with deliverance teams, all with his wife, Linda. Happily now doing whatever The LORD asks of them!
