Through the Eyes of a Child – I Will Show You My Kingdom
~ Through The Eyes Of A Child –
I Will Show You My Kingdom ~
Something is happening in this new move of God. There is an awakening happening in the hearts and minds of those who have been in the deadness of the mindset of religious tradition and church as usual… God is drawing people into a greater intimacy with Him. We are once again becoming as little children going after what our Daddy God has prepared for us!
“But just as it is written, “Things that no eye has seen, or ear heard, or mind imagined, are the things God has prepared for those who love him” 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NET).
He desires for us to be so enamored by His presence once again, so that He can show us His Kingdom in an even greater measure, as we like a child have that wide eyed wonderment of him!
“I tell you the truth, whoever does not receive the Kingdom of God like a child will never enter it” Mark 10:15 (NET).
You see, you cannot “see” those wonderful deeper things of the kingdom until you become excited about the new thing that Daddy is doing in the earth! God wants us to be like the little child when he or she knows that their Daddy is bringing them something, something that they have never owned, like when he comes home from work or a far away vacation.
I remember when I was very young… my Father would sometimes bring Cracker Jack home to us… Cracker Jack in itself was a huge thing for us to get once in a while in itself, but the best part of it was, the secret prize that was inside the box but buried underneath of the Cracker Jack. Oh, we would be so excited to find this “treasure” that we would eat that yummy, sugary, caramel coated candy with the peanuts in it very hurriedly, so that we could get to the prize!
You see, we knew… even though we couldn’t see it, that there would be some glorious treasure there for us! Just like this… we must be so excited and hungry for His presence, word, and person, that we will eat until we find the treasure that is there for us! There is just so much awaiting those kind of wide eyed children!! Just so much!!
“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him” Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV).
You see, faith is believing that not only He exists, but you have to believe that He loves you and He is a rewarder of those that seek Him with all of their heart! You have to expect your Daddy who loves you to give you all that your heart desires and longs to give you or the purpose of establishing His kingdom in the earth! His desire to give it to us is beyond anything that we can imagine or think! Ephesians 3:20.
He wants to show many of you older Christians the new thing that He is about to do, but many have become content in what they have already seen of their Papa. They now think that there is nothing more than what they have already experienced of Him! They have become complacent in seeking Him, but there is so much more that He still wants to show you, so He is calling us back to have the heart of a child again!
He is calling us to wait expectantly at the door, and yes even press past the door to see all that He has yet planned for us to see in this hour!
“Blessed is the one who listens to me, watching at my doors day by day, waiting beside my doorway” Proverbs 8:34 (NET).
Notice it says doors. Jesus is “The Door” into this Kingdom, and He wants us to come in and see all of the doors as it says here! There are new doors of Glory, new doors of revelation, and doors of deeper things from our Daddy, as we come to Him like little children! Yes, as we come excited and expecting these things when we meet Him at as He calls out our name to “come and see what Papa has for you!”
“Look at the nations, and see! Be astonished! Be astounded! For a work is being done in your days that you would not believe if you were told” Habakkuk 1:5 (NRSV).
Yes our Daddy has new things to show His “wide eyed children.” Yes, they that are willing to be shown new things, and new strategies, and be shown new ways to bring forth the greater works in this hour!
Many have become stuck in their ways of allowing God to move in their midst, and do not want the change that God has for them in this hour. They are satisfied with “The way we always did it here” Psalm 55:19 (NKJV). “Because they do not change, Therefore they do not fear God.”
You see ,the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. How does that fit here? It fits because if you do not allow change and be flexible when God starts to move, you do not get any wisdom to bring in the harvest that He has prepared! You are just stuck in your rut and what you have now is all you will have.. I don’t know about you but I want all that there is for me in this hour!
It is time, if you have not allowed Daddy to show you new things, to begin to wait at his door again, like that little child! It is time, to expect the greater things that He has to show you! There is so much more in this hour… so very much in the area of spiritual gifts, healing, signs, wonders, and miracles to reach for. These things will be a part of this “latter Reign” of God! Oh the glory of it!! Oh, can you not feel the expectancy is in His children? Look at their eyes…. look and you will see it.. and yes even desire it again!
“Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert” Isaiah 43:19 (NKJV).
