Those Who Look to Him Are Radiant
A Solar Eclipse will be occurring tomorrow Monday April 8, 2024.
While there has been a lot of speculation, prophetic words, and even fear surrounding this event, I want to assure you, that there is nothing to fear.
Solar Eclipses are natural phenomena, designed and created by God. Many people believe that this one is significant, because it is passing through several towns named “Nineveh” which was known for sin and wickedness in the book of Jonah.
I also believe that it has a Prophetic Significance and The LORD is calling people to repentance — but that’s not my message today.
I want to share something about the Solar Eclipse. I did some research about it and this is what I found.
A Solar Eclipse is a temporary dimming, overshadowing or cutting off of light. During a Solar Eclipse, the moon moves in front of the sun casting a shadow over it. It also causes the temperature to drop.
There are different types of Solar Eclipses. A partial Solar Eclipse, an annular Solar Eclipse and a total Solar Eclipse in which the moon completely obscures the sun.
I find it fascinating that scientists know exactly when an eclipse is going to occur using principles of physics, geometry and understanding celestial mechanics such as movement of the earth and tilting of the orbits.
We may be astounded by the advancement of technology, but it could never compare with Gods creative power.
As I was reading all these amazing facts, I was reminded of Jesus’ teaching in Mathew 24, when His disciples asked Him, “When will we know the end times are here?”
He began telling them about things that will occur, and He went on to say that the sun will be darkened, the moon won’t give its light, the stars will fall from the sky and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
That didn’t seem to pertain to the Solar Eclipse!
Then I looked up the scripture in Amos 8:9 which says: “And it shall come to pass in that day,” says The LORD GOD, “That I will make the sun go down at noon, and I will darken the earth in broad daylight”
I read Revelation 8 which says that the fourth Angel who blew his Trumpet and one third of the sun, the moon and the stars were struck causing one third of the day and the night to be in total darkness.
When I read that Scripture, my first thought was that The Holy Spirit was showing me the signs of the end-times.
But then when I went back to reading articles about the Eclipse, there was something that caught my attention.
It said that special “Eclipse Glasses” are needed to watch it, because looking directly into it could cause damage to the eyes or even blindness. I began thinking about a scripture in the book of Exodus.
In Exodus 34, when Moses descended from Mount Sinai with the two tablets (The “new” set of the Ten Commandments) his face shone and was so radiant with the glory of God.
The brightness was so intense that he had to put a veil over his face so that people would be able to look at him, but he took the veil off when he went back up to commune with God.
The Hebrew word for shone is “qāran” which means ‘To shine, and to “send out rays”
As I look back at the previous years of my walk with The LORD, I could remember multiple meetings which I attended, where The Holy Spirit moved in such a mighty way, and I am filled with awe and gratitude that I got to experience such encounters.
The presence of The LORD was so palpable at times that no one could ever talk me out of believing . I want to share some of the incredible experiences that I had.
In some of the meetings, The Glory of God was on the Ministers so strongly, that their faces were radiant and glowing with light from the Anointing that was upon them.
One time I was in a meeting, and the Minister called me out and prophesied over me. I had supernatural oil on my hands as he called me out, walked me around the room and prophesied that The LORD was going to use me in Miracles, Signs and Wonders.
By the time I returned to my seat, my hands and face were covered in beautiful gold dust. It was visible to everyone.
There were also other times that I experienced this. The Anointing of God is so intense upon me right now as I am writing this, and some of you will feel it as you read this.
The Holy Spirit wants me to share this because we are on the cusp of witnessing unprecedented manifestations of God’s presence in ways we have never encountered before.
In the book of Matthew chapter 17, Jesus was on the mount of transfiguration with His disciples, which is believed to be Mount Tabor, and He was suddenly transfigured before them.
His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as light.
The word in Greek for shone is “ēlios” which means to shine like the rays of the sun. Moses and Elijah then appeared. (I believe that they are the two witnesses mentioned in Revelation 11, but that’s my personal opinion.)
2 Corinthians 3:7-19 says concerning Moses, that the glory upon his face was temporary and faded away.
The Passion translation says in verse 11 “The fading ministry came with a portion of glory, but now we embrace the unfading ministry of a permanent impartation of glory.”
In the book of John, chapter 17, when Jesus was praying to The Father, He said, “The glory which You have given Me, I have given to them, that they may be one, just as We are one.”
This is what The LORD is saying: “As you see the darkness all around you, do not be moved.
Just as an eclipse changes from darkness to light, the present darkness is temporary and will soon pass over.”
Although it appears as if we’re going from a partial eclipse to a total eclipse, don’t fear the density of these dark times.
The world is about to see the brightness of His glory radiating upon the bride of Christ.
We are coming into a new day where this generation will walk in His authority and power, and demonstrate His Kingdom upon this earth..
The LORD is looking for believers to be carriers of His Glory. He is looking for those who will proclaim His Word.
As they look to Him they are radiant and their faces are not ashamed. Just as Jesus face shone like the sun, and His clothes became bright as the light on the mount of transfiguration, Jesus wants to clothe you in a mantle of His glory. as His anointing resides within you.
He is raising up those who are fearless and steadfast in their faith. They are those who will drive out the evil inhabitants of the land, and usher in a great revival in these last days.
The King of Glory, Jesus is about to reveal His glory as He brings many of us into extraordinary encounters with Him.
“They looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not ashamed.” Psalm 34:5.
“Rise up in splendor and be radiant, for your light has dawned, and Yahweh’s glory now streams from you! Look carefully! Darkness blankets the earth, and thick gloom covers the nations, but Yahweh arises upon you and the brightness of his glory appears over you!” “Nations will be attracted to your radiant light and kings to the sunrise-glory of your new day.” Isaiah 60:1–2 TPT.
“He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.” Matthew 17:2.
