This is Your Time to Step Up and Not Down!
God is releasing your assignment for the coming year right now.
It’s common for all hell to break loose in your life during this process.
Don’t be alarmed if you experience things like setbacks, debt, discouragement or broken relationships.
It can feel like you’ve taken a step forward only to take several steps back. This is the enemy’s strategy to get you to quit.
But God is releasing His strategy to get you to break through into one of the most amazing years we have seen in a long time.
Rather than step down or back away from the difficulties, this is your time to step up!
Many of you are called to be forerunners — whether leaders or participants — in the coming revival. This is why the enemy has been coming in full force against you.
Here are some ways you can step up and fight to get your breakthrough and not end up in a tailspin.
Step up in prayer
“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms,” Ephesians 6:12 NIV.
People are not our enemy — Satan and his demons are. However, if you try to battle the enemy with the same spirit the enemy is operating in, you will get knocked out.
Many people have been trying to battle the enemy. But if you have anything in your life that is in common with the enemy, then things could backfire for you.
“I will not speak much more with you, for the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in Me,” John 14:30 NASB.
Jesus had nothing in common with the enemy. Things like soul wounds, past hurts, unforgiveness and bitterness can cause us to lose our authority in prayer.
When we allow God to heal us of these things, we can take authority over them.
Step up in preparation
We must come into agreement with the spirit of loving people and not judging them. The best way to give the enemy a big “black eye” is to do what Jesus said:
“How can you say to your brother, ‘Brother, let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when you yourself fail to see the plank in your own eye? You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.” Luke 6:42 NIV.
Here are a few more Bible verses to help you grow in your authority in the battle:
- “Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse,” Romans 12:14.
We must remember that God’s love is shown most clearly when we love one another.
- “No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us,” 1 John 4:12 NIV.
- “By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another,” John 13:35 NIV.
Loving and not judging will shift the spiritual atmosphere over you, your family, your workplace, your ministry, your businesses, your community, cities and nations.
Love truly is the key, the secret and the answer to the pain in the world today.
Allow God’s love to fight the battles you are experiencing today.
Step down from fighting with the same weapons the enemy uses and step up into the love of God today!
Blessings,
