This Is the Day The LORD Has Made
This Is the Day The LORD Has Made —
I Will Rejoice and Be Glad in It
Sing and rejoice, oh Barren One!
This is the day The LORD has made! I will rejoice and be glad in it!
He is leading my steps to follow Him on the path of righteousness.
Sing and rejoice for The LORD your Maker is here! Sing, oh barren one, you are about to give birth to many!
The seeds have been planted, the soil was rich and fertile, and the Spirit of The LORD has watered your thirsty soul.
Rejoice!
The winter is passed. Spring forth with joy and strength!
Leap like calves fresh out of their stalls!
The time of singing is here!
It’s time to dance around the May pole!
Double blessings are raining down!
Lift your face to the heavens and catch the rain.
It’s raining colors!
It’s raining flowers!
The songbird arises from its winter sleep and starts to sing beautiful melodies. Sing, oh daughter of Zion!
For here I come!
Riding on my white horse towards you.
Are you ready for Me? Jump on My steed and ride the winds with Me.
Let us dance on the stars tonight, smile at the moon and wave at the sun.
For I AM doing a new thing in you and around you! Come, let us enjoy this time together.
A respite from the chaos around you.
I never meant for My children to live in darkness. That is why I put my light in you!
Shine, children shine!
Your light has come!
My Glory surrounds you. My spirit embraces you. You are never alone.
This is a new season, a new era of the outpouring of My Love upon you. Watch and see!
Behold me! Here I AM! Look up at Me, not at the ground.
Once more I will shake the earth, and all that is within it.
I will lose the bands of captivity and you will finally see, that you are free in Me.
“Listen! My beloved approaches.
Look! Here he comes, leaping across the mountains, bounding over the hills.
My beloved is like a gazelle or a young stag. Look, he stands behind our wall, gazing through the windows, peering through the lattice.
My beloved calls to me, “Arise, my darling. Come away with me, my beautiful one. For now the winter is past; the rain is over and gone. The flowers have appeared in the countryside; the season of singing has come, and the cooing of turtledoves is heard in our land.
The fig tree ripens its figs; the blossoming vines spread their fragrance. Arise, come away, my darling; come away with me, my beautiful one.”” Song of Songs 2:8-13 NKJ.
Blessings,
