This is no time to Compromise!
Warning to the church:
After meditating in prayer and listening to The Lord, I heard God say that it is no time to begin compromising and listening to the people!
You see, I heard God saying that many times we want to go along to get along with the world and we end up loosing what god is trying to birth in us in the first place! I hear the Spirit saying that when He places you in charge of folk as a leader, your loyalty is to God first!
I hear God saying that senior pastors of churches need to be careful who you leave in charge of the flock when you are a way doing business because there is an old saying that goes, “When the cats away the mouse will play!”
just as it was with Moses when he went down from the mount! As Moses went, you see he held two tables of the testimony that were in his hands: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written. And these tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables. God had given Moses the law and the mandate to carry out the law and he had also given him Aaron as a mouth piece to help Moses! But, just like many of you, if you are not prayed and fasted up, the devil will send some type of distraction to try to get you off of your assignment if you are not careful in this season!
Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted; He said unto Moses, there is a noise of war in the camp. (What kind of unholy noise is you making that is not like God in this season?) and he said, it is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing, do i hear.
And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses’ anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and broke them beneath the mount. And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and strew it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it. And Moses said unto Aaron, what did this people unto thee, that thou hast brought so great a sin upon them? And Aaron said, let not the anger of my Lord wax hot: thou knowest the people, that they are set on mischief.
I hear God saying that this is just like some of you. As soon as you are away from your leader (go out of town), you begin acting up! Just like Aaron and the others in the camp! Instead, of you realizing that the eyes of The Lord is in everyplace and that God sees everything you do you begin sinning! Doing your own thing! Just like Moses, who broke the graven tablets.
I hear God saying that unless it is in your heart to live right you are going to keep right on sinning! No pastor or leader will be able to stop you; unless you surrender your whole heart, mind, and soul unto God!
For they said unto me, (Aaron became weak and began to compromise the law all because he felt pressured by the people) make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him.
My God my God, I hear God saying that you are going to have to realize that your pastor/ leader is not your god; but you must have a personal relationship with God for yourself; unless you build your leader into some golden calf or leave him or her all together to seek after your own false god! You see, Aaron said, “Whosoever hath any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.”
But, Moses saw that the people were naked (sinned); (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:) then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, who is on the Lord’s side? Let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him. And he said unto them, thus saith the Lord God of Israel, put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour. And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.
I hear god saying that it is time for his people to make a choice whom side are you own in this season for you can not serve two masters; either you will love the one or hate the other! (Matthew 6:24).
You see, Moses had another spirit in him that was more excellent than Aaron and this spirit that God had placed upon him would not allow him to abandon his mandate (assignment) that God had placed upon his life! No, Moses would not allow Aaron; or the congregation in the camp to distract him from his God-given assignment! Instead, Moses had said, consecrate yourselves to day to The Lord, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day.
You see, Moses went ahead and obeyed God, he completed his assignment and afterward he came back to deal with the peoples sins! Sometimes we as God’s leaders are going to have to learn to utilize wisdom and knowledge when it comes to dealing with the people of god!
I hear God saying that there is a time and season to deal with folks and everything needs to be done decently and in order!
So, it came to pass on the morrow, that Moses said unto the people, ye have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto The Lord; peradventure I shall make an atonement for your sin. And Moses returned unto The Lord, and said, oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold. Yet now, if thou wilt forgive their sin – and if not, blot me, I pray thee, out of thy book which thou hast written.
I hear God saying that you can never love God’s people more than He does by putting your self out there to endanger your own soul. Moses was a meek man full of love, but this time God had to set him straight by letting him know that every man is responsible for his own soul salvation and not the leader!
You see, these are not your sheep but they are God’s and He has a right to do with them whatever He pleases! And The Lord said unto Moses, whosoever hath sinned against me, him will i blot out of my book.
Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which i have spoken unto thee: behold, mine angel shall go before thee: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.
And The Lord plagued (God sent judgement upon those who had disobeyed) the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.
I hear God saying that it is time to get it right with The Lord; get rid of these false gods in your lives! Your pastor; your leader, will not always be there to save (intercede, pray etc…….) you! You are accountable for your own soul; as well!
