“And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee for whither thou goest I will go, and where you lodgest, I will lodge. Thy people shall be my people and thy God my God,” Ruth 1:16.

Her devotion ran deep.

Now Listen to these next words:

“I will follow you anywhere!”

That is the cry of the heart that kept Paul in the midst of his beatings and chains — the devotion that kept Peter following hard after Jesus to the point of martyrdom.

This is the hearts’ cry that keeps us with our hands raised and praises lifted in the dry seasons.

When you shed those frustrated tears and feel Heaven is silent, you choose to press on.

This desert is not going to last forever!

This road will not continue to lead you to disappointment and pain. The Author is weaving a tale most beautiful as you arise from this brokenness.

Just a few more steps down this dusty road! The page is about to turn and a new chapter to begin!
