This Coming Season
“For who knows whether you have come to the Kingdom for such a time as this!” Esther 4:14
I keep hearing this expression, “This coming season…” and The LORD is preparing all of those willing to be prepared by Him — even me — for it.
Mordecai’s words to Esther hang like a banner over us. “For who knows whether you have come to the Kingdom for such a time as this!”
So, what ‘time’ are we talking about?
We are talking about our, yours and mine, effectiveness in the Kingdom of God right here, right now, in this ever increasingly evil world.
If we, the relatively few in the Remnant Church, do not walk in our God given authority in this coming season, then there is a danger that Satan, and all his agents in this world, will impose on all of us the ‘reset’ so boastfully bandied around by the WEF and the WHO!
We have the authority of Christ Himself, which He gave to us prior to His ascension to the right hand of The Father.
We who are alive at this time we’re indeed born for such a time as this. Our fulfillment of the Great Commission of Matthew 28, and Mark 16, is essential.
- Evangelists are tasked with winning the lost.
- Teachers are tasked with teaching the basic doctrines and ethics of our belief.
- Pastors are tasked with making disciples of new believers, and shepherding all the believers, old and new, in their care.
- Prophets are tasked with bringing the Word of God in wisdom, guidance, correction, and direction to the body.
- Apostles are tasked with holding the God given vision and guiding the whole church under their care towards that vision.
These are the five main ministry roles mentioned by Paul in Ephesians 4:11 — these are the main roles in which the Remnant Church must operate as a team! And these ‘leaders’ must all lead by example — no-one is exempt from serving.
Another leading role that The Church has always needed is intercessors, those who seek The LORD in prayer.
Prophetic intercession is so necessary to the well being of The Church.
Everybody should have a prayer life in private, but intercessors gather regularly to seek The LORD on behalf of the whole Church — especially the leaders.
Not a ‘leader’? No problem — you’re a helper.
There’s many wonderful ways you can help. From prayer and ministry teams to home visiting team to cleaning team, through everything other job necessary to enable the church to BE the Church — everyone has a role to play.
And please do remember – THERE IS NO ‘I’ IN TEAM.
We are all so blessed that we can all be a blessing to our church family. We are just so blessed to be part of the Church for such a time as this.
Nothing is too grand or too menial for any of us during this coming season. It’s a case of “ALL HANDS ON DECK!” for every part of the Remnant Church.
We are The LORD’s ‘Search and Rescue Team’ for this hour.

~ Chris G. Bennett
Chris Bennett came to salvation in 1962 but didn’t begin ministry until 2007 — a late-comer! Now mandated by The LORD to prophesy and open old wells of revival in the U.K., but especially in Wales. He has also operated Healing Rooms, and worked with deliverance teams, all with his wife, Linda. Happily now doing whatever The LORD asks of them! Founder, with wife Linda, of their ministry The Upper Room Encounter.
I think I am a helper, not a leader—thank you for emphasizing that while people like me may be in the background, we are not unimportant. I needed that encouragement! Blessings to you Chris!
Amen
