Remember when I said, “It is impossible to serve two masters: for either you will hate the one, and love the other; or else you will hold to the one, and despise the other. You cannot serve God and material things,” Matthew 6:24. Well, it’s just as true in the 21^st century as when I said it, over 2,000 years ago. If you say you are walking in the Spirit, it means you serve Me only.

You may think, you don’t lie, but do you half step, by making things appear as if they are one thing, when they are actually not? Did you know their are many that call themselves believers and yet are liars with their actions, facial expressions, gestures, and appearance. Pretending to agree when they actually disagree. Saying amen to appear righteous, when they do the opposite of what they are amening.

If you are bitter and resentful over being ripped off, and hold unforgiveness in your heart, it is a sure sign, you serve the master mammon. This is exactly why I said: “If any man will sue you in court, and takes your coat, let him have your shirt also,” Matthew 5:40. If I AM your master you do this, as a testimony to the fact that, you don’t treasure these things but, “your treasures are laid up in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal,” Matthew 6:20.

If someone owes you and you are resenting it, you are in the process of making mammon your master! There is one way to instantly destroy this work of the devil, and to start following Me again; Cancel the debt!

If you say I can’t let them get away with it, then you have decided to serve the master you should hate, and instead of walking in the Spirit, you are half stepping in the world!

These are the serious issues of the heart, that must be dealt with before you can follow Me. I was not being mean to the rich young ruler in Luke 18:22, I was dealing with his heart issue.

Jim Hammerle (1941-2017) began ministry working with David Wilkerson and Nicky Cruz, founding Teen Challenge Philadelphia. 6 times in the mission field pastoring a mission ship, 15 years with tv and radio, teaching, and preaching.  As a retired businessman, Jim helped to feed widows and orphans in Uganda, helping Muslims find the Jesus who fed them. He became His banker and was privileged to give His money away, wherever He decided, so he also helping to build an orphanage in Haiti and investing in lives in the USA. Totally in love with his Lord, at age 73 he served in ministry at Victory Christian Church and lived every hour listening for his Heavenly Father’s voice.  Jim passed away on May 23, 2017 to be with the LORD.
