There’s a Place for You at The LORD’s Table
This is a Christmas season like no other — in a year like no other!
Even though most of us won’t have the whole family gathered at one table this year, our heavenly Father is holding a place at The LORD’s table for each of us!
A few years ago, I had a prophetic vision where I saw the Table of The LORD — a huge table that went on for eternity — and The LORD was sitting at the head of the table. Most of the Christians were standing around with their hands out in front of them like butlers or servants ready to serve the King.
But The Father was inviting them to sit at the table as sons and daughters! This is happening right now.
A new level of relationship
“Take delight in The LORD, and he will give you the desires of your heart,” Psalm 37:4 NIV.
My Daily Prophetic Words and more all flow from this place of sitting with The LORD. In other words, I spend time at The LORD’s table in His Word and in prayer.
I hear The LORD speak to me and see what He’s saying in visions and spiritual encounters.
This doesn’t happen just because I’m a prophet. I have come to realize that I am much more than a servant … I am His son. You can know The LORD in deeper ways like this, too!
A new level of maturity
“I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you,” John 15:15 NIV.
The Father is calling many people up to a new level of maturity where He doesn’t have to tell you what to do all the time.
I remember when my daughter was growing up, and she got to the place where she would clean her room without me asking her to do it. That’s a sign of maturity.
When you shift your focus to being a son or daughter who loves your Father, He can turn to you at The LORD’s table and say, “You have My heart now. I want to bless you.” Then He starts sharing secrets and special spiritual gifts.
A new level of authority
With greater maturity comes greater authority. We don’t give the car keys to a five-year-old, right?
We wait until we see the level of maturity to not only drive the car but to handle themselves well in traffic with others.
In the same way, The LORD guides us and watches for the time when we’re ready to take on more responsibility.
He then gives us some of His authority “in His Name” to deal more effectively in the “traffic” of daily life with others.
Gifts from your Father
“For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son. And since God freely offered him up as the sacrifice for us all, he certainly won’t withhold from us anything else he has to give,” Romans 8:32 TPT.
Mature sons and daughters of God the Father are ready to receive amazing gifts! God has gifts like spiritual and natural promotions, new levels of authority, favor and grace. And He has been holding all these gifts for us like keys to a new car. Are you ready to receive?
Linda and I and the InLight Connection team wish you all a very Merry Christmas!
Blessings,
