There will be Streams in the Midst of the DESERT!
“13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. 14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth. 15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. 16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah” 1 Kings 17:13-16.
“What if I asked you to do something unusual or strange, would say the Lord? Would you say, ‘That does not make sense to me?’ I asked my servants of old to do unusual things. I had Hosea marry a prostitute. And yet, none of them questioned Me about doing this. I tell you there will be times when I will ask you to do something that will go against your common sense.
I have asked many of my own to pack up and leave. I have asked some to move to other lands. I have asked some of you to go to a land that you do not know. I asked the same of Abraham many long years ago. Do you not know that I lead and guide my servants? Do you not know that when I lead and guide that I also provide?
Many have had to live by faith in these days. Many have had to walk out their life in a way that they don’t know when their next paycheck is coming. But I provide in a way that goes beyond your providers on this earth. I can provide sustenance where none other can. I can provide food for the laborer that will satisfy all of his physical needs. I provided for the widow at Zaraphrath and the jar was never empty.
Whatever that need is I can provide for it, says the Lord. But too often you go about this your own way. Too often you are your own provider. I can still provide manna in the wilderness. But you may never know about these things if you are so dependent upon a paycheck. For my ways are not your ways; neither are your thoughts my thoughts. Many have walked a road where they didn’t know what’s in front of them. And yet around the next corner they found groceries setting upon their doorstep.
I AM a miracle-working God. I can provide for my own in ways that they couldn’t imagine. And in the days ahead, more and more will be without jobs. Some will have left their homes. And the wilderness will once again, be their home. But it won’t be a wilderness without provision. It won’t be a wilderness where everything has dried-up. For there will be streams in the midst of the desert. It will bloom and grow. It will yield fruit in its season. And you will come to know Me in a way that you did not think possible. Those days are hastening forward. Those days will come to pass. Thus would say the Spirit of the Lord. ”

Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to the Lord is a special way in 1975 and has been prophesying regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are to be reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
