Many professing “Christian Teachers” are saying that the Church will rise up in this World and DOMINATE or even RULE over Men and Nations.

This doctrine is widely espoused by those who call themselves POST MILLENNIAL AND AH-MILLENNIAL [who do not even believe in a Millennial Kingdom].

What they believe is that Jesus Christ will not literally come down from Heaven to Rule in the Kingdom in person, but that He will come ONLY IN SPIRIT AND AUTHORITY and live IN THE CHURCH BODY.

In doing this, they teach that THE CHURCH WILL BRING IN THE COMING OF THE LORD and that when He does come, the eternal ages will begin.

This is a erroneous and false teaching, in the fact that the Scriptures does not say the Church will OVERCOME AND RULE OVER THE WORLD, but that the World will become worse and worse, and there will be a time of GREAT FALLING AWAY.

In this time of Great Falling away the Scriptures tell us that the real Antichrist will arise and literally rule on this Earth.

The fact is the days of his rule will be most terrible days of great persecution and trouble, such as the world has never seen before.

Many today are thinking we must SEND POLITICAL LEADERS TO RULE IN AMERICA AND NATIONS GOVERNMENTS WORLD WIDE, and thus establish God’s Kingdom.

In this endeavor we see many working hard to try to force men to succumb to the LORD and His Word.

The pure fact of the matter is this sort of thinking is going to cause even greater persecution from the unbelieving World, because of their inane hate toward God.

The Word of God says that men will NOT REPENT, and that Evil will wax worse and worse, up until the day the LORD Jesus Christ comes with his sword of judgment and puts down all evil forces.

After this Falling Away, then the LORD will come, but not before. The fact is, when the LORD Comes He will come to judge the World and RULE OVER IT HIMSELF.

He will then at that time set up a EARTHLY KINGDOM and will rule with a Rod of Iron over the Nations of the Earth [that are left after the Great Tribulation] for another 1000 years.

At the time of the LORD’s setting up of this coming kingdom, there will be many in the Church who prevail and live for the LORD with honor will RULE WITH THE LORD.

The Church is said then that she will sit on Thrones and Judge. But not until after Jesus Christ comes back as Ling of kings and Lord of lords.

Nowhere does it teach that the Church must Rule the World, but instead the Church is to Rule over its self, keeping itself undefiled and separate from this evil generation.

The Authority of Jesus Christ has been given to us to overcome all the evil of the world and to give us power over the evil one who would destroy us.

But nowhere does it say we will destroy the Devil and his kingdom, but it says Jesus Himself will come and take that old devil and put him into the eternal lake of fire.

The Church has Victory yes, but the LORD will finally destroy all evil from off the face of this Earth. Himself.

Today, there is a frantic call to the “Church” to UNITE IN POWER AND PEOPLE so as to rise up to rule and overcome.

This call does seek to find common unity but it forgets Doctrine of God which does separate men.

The fact that there is a MOVEMENT called THE WORLD WIDE CHURCH which will join together to rule.

In order for this World Oder to enlist men they accept anybody and any doctrine, just for the sake of Power and Unity.

Their call is going out to form a Church which is not offensive to anyone, and one of great love for all men.

This movement seeks only the power of unity but will not agree upon the Word of God or think it even necessary.

The movement is made up of all religions around the belief in A God and a People of God.

Be warned. There will not come a day the Church will Rule over the affairs of men.

No, that day or Rule, will only come by the King Himself under which we will live with him and He will be our God and we will be His People.

He will be King over all, and every knee will bow to his Majesty.

Scripture to consider:

“¹ Now in regard to the coming of our LORD Jesus Christ and our gathering together to meet Him, we ask you, brothers and sisters, ² not to be quickly unsettled or alarmed either by a [so-called prophetic revelation of a] spirit or a message or a letter [alleged to be] from us, to the effect that the day of the LORD has [already] come.
³ Let no one in any way deceive or entrap you, for that day will not come unless the apostasy comes first [that is, the great rebellion, the abandonment of the faith by professed Christians], and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction [the Antichrist, the one who is destined to be destroyed], ⁴ who opposes and exalts himself [so proudly and so insolently] above every so-called god or object of worship, so that he [actually enters and] takes his seat in the temple of God, publicly proclaiming that he himself is God.
⁵ Do you not remember that when I was still with you, I was telling you these things? ⁶ And you know what restrains him now [from being revealed]; it is so that he will be revealed at his own [appointed] time. ⁷ For the mystery of lawlessness [rebellion against divine authority and the coming reign of lawlessness] is already at work; [but it is restrained] only until he who now restrains it is taken out of the way. ⁸ Then the lawless one [the Antichrist] will be revealed and…… The LORD Jesus will slay him with the breath of His mouth and bring him to an end by the appearance of his coming.
⁹ The coming of the [Antichrist, the lawless] one is through the activity of Satan, [attended] with great power [all kinds of counterfeit miracles] and [deceptive] signs and false wonders [all of them lies], ¹⁰ and by unlimited seduction to evil and with all the deception of wickedness for those who are perishing, because they did not welcome the love of the truth [of the gospel] so as to be saved [they were spiritually blind, and rejected the truth that would have saved them]. ¹¹ Because of this God will send upon them a misleading influence, [an activity of error and deception] so they will believe the lie, ¹² in order that all may be judged and condemned who did not believe the truth [about their sin, and the need for salvation through Christ], but instead took pleasure in unrighteousness,” 2 Thessalonians 2:1-12 (AMP).
