Silver or Gold

Whenever the silver or gold is refined by fire, all impurities, dirt, and dross come to the surface.

The devil comes around when God has you in this purifying process and you are sitting under His red-hot Word.

As the impurities are brought to the surface and hidden things is being separated by fire, the devil says to you, “Look in the pot and tell me what you see. Dirt and impurities of all kinds. Look at you, a refiner’s pot of dirt and corruption! You are never going to make it! You have been under the Word for years and all you have got is just dirt!”

You answer him with this, “Listen devil, you see that One sitting beside me? That’s my Master, the Refiner. He is fanning the flames and it is He who put me in this fire. And, devil, that dirt is only surface deep! The gold is coming forth!

The LORD is getting us ready. See that thing in His hand? It’s a strainer, and when He is ready, He is going to skim off the top of the pot and keep skimming until one day He will look in there and smile because He sees His own face reflecting back, right there in me!”

From these ruins
From these ashes
Beauty will arise
Hope will begin to resurrect from the flames
From the wreckage
From this darkness
Glory will shine

There Is a Message at the Gate for You!

Peter commanded the beggar to look at them.

If he wanted what they had, then he had to get his eyes off of his ugly situation; he had to stop looking down; he had to stop seeking the same old things; he had to stop seeking temporal satisfaction; he had to look at them.

When he looked at Peter and John, he saw Jesus for they were in Him, full of Him and in His power and authority.

The Greek adjective used to name the gate (hōraios) can be defined as “happening or coming at the right time.”

So if you find yourself sitting outside the gate waiting on God, waiting on that miracle so hear me when I say, silver and gold have I none, but in the name of Jesus Christ rise up and walk.

Get back up to your feet for you are not alone. You will find that new strength, the moment you stand up.

You are royalty and not a begger, you do not have to sit outside the gate, but you can now step in to what your Father has prepared for you.

“Then Peter said, “Silver and gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” ⁷ And he took him by the right hand and lifted him up, and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength. ⁸ So he, leaping up, stood and walked and entered the temple with them—walking, leaping, and praising God. ⁹ And all the people saw him walking and praising God. ¹⁰ Then they knew that it was he who sat begging alms at the Beautiful Gate of the temple; and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.

Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.” Acts 3:6-16 NKJV.
