There Is a Lion in the Garden
I heard, “There is a Lion in the Garden.”
“Beloved. Once there was a beautiful garden where man dwelled in perfect peace until the serpent deceived the man and woman and they fell from Grace.
I have good news, Dear One. The Garden is restored. Through Grace have you been saved through faith.
The Garden is now in the Son, the second Adam, Who came and redeemed you and restored you back to life.
I AM the Garden of Life; I AM the Tree of Life for all who come to Me. I AM the Living Waters, the Fountain of Life from which you may freely drink.
Come, My Child, come into the Garden of My Shalom, the Garden of My Peace, and drink from the River of Delights.
Eat of My Sweet Fruit and feast on the abundance of My House. And you shall become in Me a well watered garden, a spring whose waters never fail.
As the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign LORD has made you righteous through the Son and joyful praise shall spring up in you before all, so the world may see that they too may have everlasting Life.
Eat, O friends, and drink, My Bride; drink freely, O Beloved. The Winds of the Spirit are blowing, Beloved, for the Lion has come into His Garden, the garden of your heart.”
“They feast on the abundance of Your house, and You give them drink from Your river of delights,” Psalm 36:8.
“The LORD will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail,” Isaiah 58:11.
“I have come to My garden, My sister, My bride; I have gathered my myrrh with my spice. I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey; I have drunk my wine with my milk. Eat, O friends, and drink; drink freely, O beloved,” Song of Solomon 5:1.
“My Beloved has gone down to His garden, to the beds of spices, to pasture His flock in the gardens, and to gather lilies. I belong to my Beloved and He belongs to me; He pastures His flock among the lilies.…” Song of Solomon 6:2-3.
“A garden enclosed is My sister, My spouse; a spring shut up, a fountain sealed….
….. A fountain of gardens, a well of living waters, and streams from Lebanon. Awake, O north wind; and come, thou south; blow upon my garden, that the spices thereof may flow out. Let my Beloved come into His garden, and eat His pleasant fruits. Song of Solomon 4:12, 15-16.
“For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise spring up before all,” Isaiah 61:11.
“But whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a fount of water springing up to eternal life,” John 4:14.
