Then Will I Hear From Heaven
I confess, I’m not sure where to begin.
I yet believe that if you are truly going to help someone, you will have to be honest. It requires that you share what’s going on with you; your life and your situation.
I learned long ago, that if you really want to be a good counselor, you won’t be very successful in actually helping or ministering to others if you always speak to them from some sort of elevated level above them.
If we recall, it was Jesus who got down to the same level with those he helped.
We’re not talking about sharing in their sins or their mistakes. It’s about being real.
If we had not had this false teaching of big sins and little sins, it’s possible we might have reached and helped more people. “We’ve all sinned and come short,” seemed to fade away in some of our circles.
Perhaps it takes someone who has messed up big time to reach the place where they can say earnestly, “But for the grace of God, there go I.” LORD, help me to humble down here.
The bottom fell out of the world; you can call it what you want. It’s being real to say that some of us, no, many of us… got broad-sided and fell apart.
We’ll either be honest about these things or, again, we won’t help anybody; even ourselves.
The psyche doctors are booked up. I write here to speak in carefully chosen words. We must, if what we have to minister is going to get to those who need it.
I’ve been too angry to speak. If anyone, no matter what your kind of experience teaches, doesn’t see all of this as a spiritual matter, it’s likely they’re already in the dark. The Spirit says, what?
You know, this verse we hear so much about these days, says very clearly, that God must forgive our sins, before He heals our land.
I have asked Him repeatedly what those sins are. LORD help me here. How is He going to forgive my sins, if I may not have prayed hard enough, humbled myself enough or sought His face long and diligently enough?
Many people who say they know Christ, or say they have The Holy Ghost, don’t believe they might be wicked in some kind of way.
Those who don’t know God, or have turned from Him, likely don’t recognize what they’ve been doing is even wrong.
In most cases, it take The Holy Ghost to reveal things to us that we may not want to see. When I truly made my decision that I wanted to follow the leading of The Holy Ghost — no matter what — there was something I had to do.
I had to ask Him to reveal to me anything that was hidden, ignored or covered up in me, whatever it might be, that might hinder me from doing my heart’s desire.
Do you know that right now, I can feel self-righteous voices speaking to themselves. Man, this guy must have been a really bad individual.
Well, I was. But I’m talking about after God forgave me for all of that, and I did everything I could to, oops, turn from my wicked ways.
Filthy rags? I didn’t know I had so many.
If we, the people, are going to get through all these things that’s come upon this land and our world, we are going to have to dig harder into our minds and into our spirits.
Saints, you know very well this comes from a totally different level than many want to deal with. The proof, is the awful oppression that has come against those trying to seek His Face.
Don’t ask me how sick I’ve been, how discouraged I’ve been, or just how many questions I’ve been asking God.
Just to be real here, the apostles reached a place once where they were “pressed out of measure” and they despaired even of life.
Physically, not recovered from septic shock, a foot surgery that’s not working, and a feeling of total upheaval of my senses and my spirit, I heard something. I was feeling so bad, so dragged down and restless, I just did not want to go on anymore.
A voice spoke to me and said, “Why don’t you just curse God and die.” For a moment, I was utterly stunned.
I knew who it was. It was the dark one himself. I suddenly shook my head and I did what you have to do — I talked back!
Oh, I know who you are! Who do you think you are to talk to me like that? You can’t destroy me! I don’t belong to you! I belong to God!
You can’t take my life — it’s not yours to take!
Job was not completely destroyed. It certainly seemed like it, but his was not the devil’s life to take. And some of you need to hear this message.
We’ve been through, and some of us are still going through, the worst and toughest stuff we have ever encountered.
But God will yet deliver! Why? Because He promised He would.
Sooner or later. LORD, let it be sooner! Amen!
