The way to a greater anointing
The way to a greater anointing, is to have a greater love for righteousness and a greater hatred of wickedness and iniquity.
Loving righteousness, means loving right thinking, loving right actions, loving the actual practice of righteousness, loving those who stand up for it and practice it everywhere they go, and getting behind those who are walking in righteousness, and not in unrighteousness.
We must hate wickedness and the practice of it. We must ask God to search us and examine our hearts and ways and make sure we are not practicing anything that is wicked in His sight, in thought, action and deed, and we must examine our ways to make sure they are pleasing in His sight.
Even the way we do ministry – we are also to hate iniquity (which is lawlessness) forsaking both natural and spiritual law. We are not righteous through the law, but we are to fulfill it and be doers of it, because we have been made partakers of the Divine nature and the Divine nature, is not lawless.
“Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows,” Hebrews 1:6.
“Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows,” Psalm 45:7.
