The Wall of Struggle
2 Words in 1
Valleys and Shadows
“Yea thou I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for thou art with me, thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me.”
Valley — deep hollow between two mountains.
In this valley there may be deep waters that you feel like your drowning.
There may be lack of light due to the mountains that seem to surround you on every side.
Not only it is cool and dark at times, but you face the wolves and the serpents because they like the atmosphere of the valley.
Hear me when I say this, “The LORD is with you!”
Shadow — A Figure produced from the blockage of light by another figure. It is not the real thing. It is a representation of it!
The shadow of a serpent cannot strike, because it is not the real thing.
The shadow of a dog cannot bite!
No matter how dark a shadow can be, it reminds one of the presence of light because when light is shielded, a shadow is produced.
Many of these places you are passing through are those valley’s of the shadow of death, and that shadow will soon pass you by for the LORD is with you
You are not in this valley to set up camp.
This is not permanent, you are only passing through!
The Wall of Struggle
Walking around this wall of struggle!
You find yourself like Paul with a thorn in your side.
You have dealt with this for a long time and thought for sure things would be different.
You thought God would take care of it, but it seems all is stagnant.
God has not failed you!
When you come to this bridge, remember Gods faithfulness to you in those past moments.
As much as you are struggling with right now, remember those moments when He showed up and made a way when you saw none.
When you begin to look back upon his faithfulness, that is your building blocks for your NOW faith! It helps your hearts anthem to become,
“I am not done yet
What he did for me once He shall do it again!
Walking around this wall, it will surely fall
Knowing the battle is won
For my God will not fail!”
You may have felt as though you lost or buried something in this season of sorrow in your life.
You may think it is dead. You may see it as over! The dream has no more life. Think again!
His promises to you will stand!
