The Walking and Talking Trees
I saw a beautiful Tree set in a Garden, with all kinds of different Trees growing around it’s Feet — and I heard the phrase, “These are the Walking and Talking Trees of My Shekinah Glory.”
Then I heard these Trees whispering on the Winds, and they were communicating, and the enemy could NOT decipher their words of Life.
As a Tree in a Garden once caused the downfall of man, so the Glorious Tree of Life has come to redeem us, revive us, and pour down It’s Glory upon us.
As the devil used a tree to defeat men, so God is raising up us, His Trees of Righteousness, to defeat the devil!! Hallelujah!
I am always amazed once I start studying a Word that God gives me, how amazing the world He created is!
How everything — not only supernaturally — but even scientifically, points back to Him and His Word in a beautiful Tapestry of Truth woven by the Hand of God.
Do trees actually “talk” to each other? The answer is YES! Scientists are starting to uncover that trees have their own sort of ‘nervous system’ that is capable of facilitating tree communication, memory and learning.
A “mycorrhizal network,” connects individual plants or trees together underground to transfer water, nitrogen, carbon and other minerals.
German forester Peter Wohlleben dubbed this network the “woodwide web,” as it is through the mycelium that trees “communicate.”
Do you know that the root of a tree is called The FOOT — and the leaves and branches are its HEAD?
There is a verse that I found that is fascinating and makes so much sense now. It is Isaiah 60:13.
“The glory of Lebanon will come to you, the juniper, the box tree and the cypress together, to beautify the place of My Sanctuary; And I shall make the PLACE OF MY FEET GLORIOUS.”
God was not just talking in the natural, but in the Spiritual!
“Beloved. I have made you in My Image. Since the creation of the world, My Invisible Qualities, Eternal Power and Divine Nature, have been clearly seen, being understood from My Workmanship, so that men are without excuse.
Oh My Child. I AM The Vine, you are the branches. Without Me, you can do nothing. But in Me, nothing is impossible!
I AM The True Tree of Life, from which all your Sustenance flows.
I AM the Resurrection and the Life.
I AM in the Midst of Paradise.
I AM in your Midst, Beloved, to be near you and to diffuse My Life Giving Flow.
I AM the Fruit bearing Tree which bears the sweetest and most exquisite Fruit for your support and refreshment and renewal.
My Leaves are appointed for the healing of the nations. They never fall and are perpetually green.
In My Veins runs Divine Virtue to feed your souls and Holy Medicine to cure all your diseases.
Shekinah Glory is upon My Head and it is upon yours also. As I AM, so are you in this world.
You are the walking and talking epistles, the “Talking Trees” that make the Place of My Feet Glorious!
I have planted you in this world as cedars in the wilderness, acacias, myrtles, and olive trees.
I have set you like cypresses in the desert, elms and boxwood together, so that all may see and know, may consider and understand, that the Hand of the LORD has done this and the Holy One of Israel has created it.
Fear not, for you are like a TREE firmly planted by Streams of Water, which yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever you do, you shall prosper. Take hold of this Wisdom and joyful shall you be as you cling to Me.
As it is written: “Blessed are you who trust in The LORD, and whose hope is The LORD. For you shall be like a Tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes — but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit.
You are not weak, Beloved, but a mighty and strong Tree in Me! You shall FLOURISH like a palm tree, My Child, you shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.
You who are planted in the house of The LORD shall flourish in the courts of your God. You shall still bear fruit in old age — you shall be fresh and flourishing, to declare that your Savior is upright; that He is your Rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.”
JESUS : THE TREE OF LIFE : Christ is the true tree of life…because as Mediator, He is the prince of life giving life to the world and eternal life in heaven by glory; for He is “the resurrection and the life” who will most certainly bestow upon His own eternal life. Truly He is the only tree because no one except Christ is the author of eternal life (nor is there salvation in any other, Acts 4:12). No one except Christ is in the midst of paradise (Revelation 2:7) and of the street of the city (Revelation 22:2). Christ is in the midst of the church (as a more honorable and suitable place) to be near all and diffuse His vivifying power among all; to be seen by all, as the center in which all the lines of faith and love ought to meet, that they may acquiesce in Him. The fruit-bearing tree (Revelation 2:7), which bears the sweetest and most exquisite fruit for the support of believers. Its leaves (never falling and perpetually green) are appointed for the healing of the nations because it has the virtue not only of aliment (to feed our souls), but also of medicine (most healthful to cure all our diseases, Isaiah 53:5; Matthew 11:28). (Francis Turretin)
HOW TREES COMMUNIUCATE : (Science) Scientists are starting to uncover that trees have their own sort of nervous system that is capable of facilitating tree communication, memory and learning. A “mycorrhizal network,” connects individual plants or trees together to transfer water, nitrogen, carbon and other minerals. German forester Peter Wohlleben dubbed this network the “woodwide web,” as it is through the mycelium that trees “communicate.”
By using a technique called allelopathy, in which a chemical signal is sent through the mycorrhizal network, trees can warn their neighbors about an invasive predator or to inhibit growth of invasive plant species. Surrounding trees can then defend themselves by releasing volatile hormones or chemicals to deter predators or pathogenic bugs. It was even found that trees can send a stress signal to nearby trees after a major forest disturbance, (Harvard, edu)
“The glory of Lebanon will come to you, The juniper, the box tree and the cypress together, to beautify the place of My sanctuary; And I shall make the PLACE OF MY FEET GLORIOUS.” Isaiah 60:13
“The Christian Church, so called in allusion to the ark in the most holy place of the tabernacle and temple, where the Divine Glory, termed by the Jews the SHEKINAH, was want to appear between the wings of the cherubim, over the mercy-seat, which was, as it were, the footstool of that glorious symbol of God’s presence. (Benson Commentary) GLORY—that is, the trees which adorned Lebanon; are emblems of men eminent in gifts, devoting all that is in them to the God of Israel (Hosea 14:5-6). (Jamieson-Fausset-Brown Commentary)
The place of My Feet — no longer the ark (Jeremiah 3:16), “the footstool” of Yahweh (Psalm 99:5; 132:7; 1 Chronicles 28:2); but “the place of His throne, the place of the soles of His feet, where He will dwell in the midst of the children of Israel for ever,” in the new temple. And now we are His Temple!
“What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”” 2 Corinthians 6:16
“I will plant cedars in the wilderness, acacias, myrtles, and olive trees. I will set cypresses in the desert, elms and boxwood together, so that all may see and know, may consider and understand, that the hand of the LORD has done this and the Holy One of Israel has created it.” Isaiah 41:19-20
(The fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together; which may denote persons of different sizes and kinds, both as to worldly and spiritual affairs; and yet come together as the true church, and will unite in the service and worship of God, and be a real glory to it.)
“Clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.” 2 Corinthians 3:3
(We are His walking Epistles. I thought of how paper comes from trees. Isn’t that amazing? Our Bibles were literally TREES once.”)
“How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, Nor stand in the path of sinners, Nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the Lord, And in His law he meditates day and night. HE WILL BE LIKE A TREE firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers.” Psalm 1:1-3
“The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree, He shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. Those who are planted in the house of the Lord Shall flourish in the courts of our God. They shall still bear fruit in old age; They shall be fresh and flourishing, To declare that the Lord is upright; He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.” Psalm 92:12-15
“The fruit of the righteous is a TREE OF LIFE, And he who is wise wins souls.” Proverbs 11:30
“She (wisdom = Jesus) is a TREE OF LIFE to those who take hold of her, And happy are all who hold her fast.” Proverbs 3:18
“But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us WISDOM from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption —” 1 Corinthians 1:30
““Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, And whose hope is the Lord. For he shall be like a TREE planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.” Jeremiah 17:7-8
