The Unity Of The Body Of Christ Arise and Come!
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
The Unity Of The Body Of Christ Arise and Come!
Let us come together
Let us pray together
Let us decree and declare together
The Will of our LORD GOD ALMIGHTY
As it is in heaven so shall it be on earth
The unity of the Body of Christ arise and come!
Let us come together for His Holy Namesake
Let us put aside our disagreements
Let us put aside our jealousies
Let us put aside our double mindedness
For a day in His Courts
Is better than a thousand elsewhere
It is better to be a doorkeeper in the House of our God
Than dwell in the tents of wickedness
For The LORD God is a sun and shield
The LORD will give grace and glory
No good thing will He withhold
From them that walk uprightly
Let us honor Him in everything we do
Day and night, even when we slumber
Let us come together for His Holy Namesake
Let us follow His Commandments and Precepts
Let us love always abounding in graciousness
Let us keep His Words flowing from our lips
For the wise flourish in the sight of the LORD
And are given His Favor
But the rebellious walk upon a path of folly
And destruction is their way
Let us come together
Let us pray together
Let us decree and declare together
The Will of our LORD GOD ALMIGHTY
As it is in heaven so shall it be on earth
The unity of the Body of Christ arise and come!
Let us come together for His Holy Namesake
Let us be built up until we reach unity
In the faith and in the knowledge of The Son of God
Maturing and attaining the whole measure
Of the fullness of Christ
We will then not be tossed to and fro by waves
Nor blown here or there by every wind
Of deceit and unsound doctrine
Let us speak truth in love
And grow more mature in Him
For He is the Head and we are His Body
Working in tandem, joined and held together
Supporting and growing in love
In the Works He has ordained for us all
Let us come together for His Holy Namesake
Let us come together
Let us pray together
Let us decree and declare together
The Will of our LORD GOD ALMIGHTY
As it is in heaven so shall it be on earth
The unity of the Body of Christ arise and come!
Let us come together for His Holy Namesake
And where two or more are gathered in His Name…
He is there
And where there is unity of Spirit through the bond of peace..
He is there
There is one Body, one Spirit
One LORD, one Faith
One Baptism, one God and Father of all!
Who is over all, through all and in all!
Oh let us come together for His Holy Namesake
The unity of the Body of Christ arise and come!
Arise and come! Arise and come!
Oh let us come together for His Holy Namesake!
“As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. But to each one of us grace has been given as Christ apportioned it. This is why it says: “When he ascended on high, he took many captives and gave gifts to his people.” (What does “he ascended” mean except that he also descended to the lower, earthly regions? He who descended is the very one who ascended higher than all the heavens, in order to fill the whole universe.) So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the whole measure of the fullness of Christ. Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.” Ephesians 4:1-16
“Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.” Psalm 34:10-11
“What, after all, is Apollos? And what is Paul? Only servants, through whom you came to believe—as the Lord has assigned to each his task. I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.” 1 Corinthians 3:5-9
“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.” 1 Corinthians 3:16-17
“What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.”” 2 Corinthians 6:16
“Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: “Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me.” Hebrews 10:5
“Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, with our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful. And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” Hebrews 10:22-25
“Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers, but fellow citizens with God’s people and also members of his household, 20 built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone. In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.” Ephesians 2:19-22
“So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” Romans 12:5
“The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.” Proverbs 1:7

“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD.” Psalm 150:6.
