The Trumpet Is Sounding!
Many remain stuck in the old order (Moses), refusing to cross over into the new (Joshua) anointing.
The pain of not moving out in ‘Joshua’ affects more than yourself – it affects others too! It is time to deliver – to birth this thing!
Don’t stay stuck in past methods. Don’t stay married to Moses comforts, all based upon ‘the tyranny of the familiar.’ ‘Break’ the shackles of this false comfort and move into the ‘new thing.’
Moses listened to the ten spies, not the two. He feared the people and ‘stayed home’ east of the Jordan – Why? It was familiarly comfortable! Moses lives in all of us when fear of change rules.
Moses struggled with sacred cows that Joshua and Caleb did not (they relied solely upon the fact that ONLY a proper relationship with the Father would keep them safe). Moses could lead them ‘to it,’ but not ‘in it.’
Joshua recognized his authority, Moses did not. The devil never comes for you, he comes for your authority – Joshua recognized he ‘had it,’ Moses feared mistakes.
Moses never wanted or decided to stay in the desert for 40 years – he just decided on just one thing for 40 years: “One day, some day, just not today!”
In the old order the emphasis is always on what God is going to do (Church Age Thinking): In the new order (Kingdom Age Thinking), it is always what God is doing. It is time to put away the symbolic tambourine and build (what God has put into your heart to build).
To answer this call we must GAIN a pilgrim mindset, losing the sedentary settled nature of stagnancy. We must ‘move’ from the place we have ‘settled’ to take possession of the Promised Land.
The trumpet has sounded (Numbers 10:1) and the call is heard: “Rise up O LORD! May your enemies be scattered; may your foes flee before you,” Numbers 10:35.
There is a changing of the guard – God’s new day is upon us and we shall see the salvation of the LORD. God is establishing His ways unto all the earth, for in and from Mount Zion (God’s remnant and first fruits), God shall reign and establish peace.
“Now shall come to pass in the latter days that the mountain of the LORD’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains (7 MOUNTAIN MANTLE) and shall be exalted above the hills; and peoples shall flow to it.
Many nations shall come and say, ‘Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob: He will teach us His ways, and we shall walk in His paths.
For out of Zion the law shall go forth, and the Word of the LORD from Jerusalem (true church). He shall judge between many peoples, and rebuke strong nations afar off…” (Isaiah 2:2-4).
Get this if you get nothing else from this ‘call to move’ – God is blessing an order, not on a person, but on a people.
Favor does not necessarily come to a person, it comes to a position (an appointed office created to accomplish God’s pre-planned purpose upon the earth).
“For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do,” Ephesians 2:10.
God serves us as we serve Him, and there is no higher service (and therefore no greater favor from God) than to step into the position He made uniquely for us. In this position is great authority.
Joshua spoke to the sun and the sun obeyed. The entire universe is wired to answer to the authority of a manifested son of God. The Holy Ghost gave objects the ability to obey commands, such that the plan and purpose of God be fulfilled. When seated in our rightful position we speak to objects, not ‘at them’ – they most obey.
Will ‘moving out’ require courage? More than you have, but not more than God can give!
Many are called, but few are chosen – why? Lack of disciplined focus in finding God’s exact purpose for our lives. More to come on this subject. Rise Up!
