The True Spirit of Giving
For God so loved the world that He gave, His only, His best and it was the heart he displayed in that giving.
Jesus sacrificed His life to redeem His Bride. He could have chose to run away, take His life back and seek to save it, but He willingly laid it all down to redeem His bride, us the church.
What a awesome thing our savior did for us without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins we would not be saved, we would have been lost. The blood is the bond of that covenant he made with us and what an awesome example he made.
It is an everlasting sealed covenant that will never lose it’s power. It is the real power of love.
Giving is not all about the gifts you give in fact it is the true heart in which the gift is given that really matters. We are to give as if it is to The Lord with a pure heart that just wants to be a blessing.
Jesus gave all for us not for himself, ought we also to do the same?
Today as we go forth to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas let us remember that it was this cause He was born to lay it all down, His own life for His Bride leaving this beautiful example and path for us to follow.
Let us get self out of the way and be a doer of the Word of God and give God some glory due His name. He alone is worthy of our praise.
Be blessed, people of God and enjoy the celebration of the birth of our Savior and the real meaning behind why He came the real meaning of Christmas with the true Spirit of Giving.
