The Sweet Balm Of Jesus
A Psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
The Sweet Balm Of Jesus
The Sweet Balm of Jesus
Oh the relief that washes over me
The River of Life I’ve been searching for all these years
I have finally found
Now I drink in His Water
And I rest in His Eternal Life
The Sweet Balm of Jesus
Oh the warmth that enfolds me
The Green Pastures I’ve been searching for all these years
I have finally found
Now I lie down where the grass grows plenty
And I rest in His Security
Oh The Sweet Balm of Jesus covers me forever
For my soul is home now and will never leave
For my soul has seen the light and has been set free
Oh The Sweet Balm of Jesus has touched me
The Sweet Balm of Jesus
Oh the pain and hurt are gone
The Healing Touch I’ve been searching for all these years
I have finally found
Now I smile cause His Grace has transformed me
And I believe in His Healing Power
The Sweet Balm of Jesus
Oh the sadness is no more
The Unfailing Love I’ve been searching for all these years
I have finally found
Now I dance with Him
And I celebrate in His Joy
Oh The Sweet Balm of Jesus covers me forever
For my soul is home now and will never leave
For my soul has seen the light and has been set free
Oh The Sweet Balm of Jesus has touched me
Oh The Sweet Balm of Jesus
Has touched and changed me
My sweet Jesus lives in me
He has found and saved me
Oh The Sweet Balm of Jesus covers me forever
For my soul is home now and will never leave
For my soul has seen the light and has been set free
Oh The Sweet Balm of Jesus has touched me
Oh The Sweet Balm of Jesus has touched me….
“Rejoice in the LORD always!” Philippians 4:4.
“The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.” Isaiah 61:1-3.
“But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” John 4:14.
“When you see this, your heart will rejoice and you will flourish like grass; the hand of the Lord will be made known to his servants, but his fury will be shown to his foes.” Isaiah 66:14.
“But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ.” Ephesians 2:13.
“How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!” Hebrews 9:14.
“Who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to be obedient to Jesus Christ and sprinkled with his blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance.” 1 Peter 1:2.
“But let all who take refuge in you be glad; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, that those who love your name may rejoice in you.” Psalm 5:11.

“Let everything that has breath praise The LORD.” Psalm 150:6.
Your songs to the Lord are such a blessing! Such beauty in each one! I look forward to each one! Thank you, and God bless you!
Dear Mary,
Thank you for your kind words. I myself often times do not realize what I am writing until I get finished with a psalm, and when I see the words and put the music together with it, I am astounded at what The HOLY SPIRIT has given me. The LORD is so giving, He has blessed me to be a blessing to all who read the psalms. It is all Him shining through. All is for His Glory! Many blessings to you Mary!
