The Subject of Beauty
The old saying goes; “Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” and “Beauty is only skin deep.”
And yet, can one really help looking for beauty, or attempting to look beautiful?
Let’s take it deeper; like bottom of the ocean, deep.
So many of us, both men and women want to look beautiful. Although men may not use the word “beautiful” to describe themselves (in fear of depleting their masculinity), the goals are still the same, and because of this, many go through insecurities of life because they’ve been told or they believe that they aren’t pretty, beautiful, buffed, skinny, thick, tall, handsome, fine, cute, rich, or smart enough.
I have crossed paths with many beautiful people who were never married, didn’t have kids, and had boyfriends/ girlfriends who cheated on them or abused them.
Most would say something was wrong with that picture, right?
Well, let me tell you, Satan deals in appearances. He himself, “appears” as an angel of light. In the garden when he tempted Eve, the forbidden fruit “appeared” delightful and good to eat.
When Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness, he presented all the riches of this world and promised it, if only Jesus would worship him. Even in this, Satan dealt in appearance.
One of the definitions of the word “appearance” is: “An ACT of becoming visible or noticeable.”
Notice the word, “act.”
Now, although it is stated that actions speak louder than words; just because you “act” like something or someone, doesn’t mean you are TRULY that something or someone.
This is why it is written in the scriptures that God searches the hearts and motives of mankind, and doesn’t just look at their actions.
So instead of striving to accomplish the act of looking beautiful, how about you accomplish BEING Beautiful.
One of the definitions of the word “Beautiful” is: “of a very high standard; excellent.” And who stands higher and more excellent than anything or person? Jehovah-God.
So let’s BE beautiful, by allowing the light of The LORD and His perfect LOVE to radiate through us. For this beauty will NEVER fade; it is eternal, because HE is eternity.
Scripture for the day:
:So don’t be misled, my dear brothers and sisters. Whatever is good and perfect is a gift coming down to us from God our Father, who created all the lights in the heavens. He never changes or casts a shifting shadow.” James 1:16-17.

One thing have I inquired of the Lord and that I may seek after, to behold the beauty, the beauty of the Lord, to inquire in His temple, the temple of the Lord! This should be our desire! To behold the beauty of the Lord, and inquire of Him! In doing this we are changed into His likeness! This is true Beauty. Man, or woman, Christ makes you beautiful!

YES..!, YES…!, YES…! – AMÉN..! AMÉN…! AMÉN…! above Your VESSEL Message..! SHAMLOM..!
I believe and receive.
Praise the Lord! Amen! God bless you, my beloved and beautiful sister in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior! You are so right, this is the truth. We need to look and appear like the beauty of Jesus Christ, having a beautiful, loving, humble, compassionate, meek and giving heart, because as you’ve mentioned, the Lord always examines the heart, the intent, motive, whether it is pure with his love or filled with hatred.
Thank you, for sharing this message publicly. Because of Satan trying to exercise vanity in the lives of God’s beautiful and perfect creation, we feel as though we are not handsome or pretty enough, because of the eyes and what many look for outwardly. When we were born, we didn’t care and didn’t take notice of how we looked on the outside, until growing older, insecurities blossoming in our life by people sowing, planting those seeds, some secretly, quietly and some openly with no shame, making many feel their price of value is less, when we are all created beautiful to serve, praise and worship God with our mind, body, heart, soul and spirit, not with our outward appearance.
