The Stage is set, the Curtain Ready…
Many reading have probably noted that the frequency with which I am posting on Facebook has diminished. The words of a captain I fished with years ago come to mind, “Some believe if you can’t tie a knot you should just tie a lot.” While this isn’t directly applicable the fact is that it is easy to become so concerned with posting new words frequently that the message becomes watered down and loses effectiveness.
My hope is that because you don’t hear from me as often you will take notice of these words and slow down to proverbially chew on the word that the LORD is giving me this morning.
The LORD showed me two ballet dancers (something I would never think of since I have no interest in ballet whatsoever). I could see as they moved gracefully in sync with one another. There were several things He pointed out based on this simple imagery.
- Ballet requires complete and undivided focus. If one of the dancers is distracted then there are sure to be flaws in the timing and performance.
- Ballet takes practice and commitment. The practice begins long before the curtain is drawn and the audience is present. It is during this period that the timing and performance are perfected so as to be graceful and in flow.
- The consequences of poorly timed movements range from an ill-timed and awkward performance to injury. When a ballet is performed by two people, one must rely on the timing of the other as certain moves require the interaction of the other.
Through these illustrations the LORD communicated the following message.
“You must focus your eyes and the entirety of your attention upon Me. If you begin looking elsewhere you will become distracted. What I need in this hour is complete focus. Likewise you must devote yourself entirely unto Me. A divided heart leads to internal conflict. Your commitment is first unto Me and therefore unto what I am doing.
The curtain has yet to be drawn but that makes what I am doing in this hour no less important. Do what I have called you to do in faith and expect that I will answer your prayers. Lay hands on the sick under the authority of My Son and expect that I will heal them in My timing. Cast out devils and know that the captives are being set free.
As you allow My Spirit to lead and guide you you’ll find that you begin coming into sync with My perfect rhythm and timing. You will flow with My Spirit and the result will be both graceful and beautiful. However, if you do not invest in your faith now, when the curtain is drawn you will be ineffective and will be removed from My stage.
Take heed. This is not the hour for distraction or slumber. This is the hour for complete focus. You will move gracefully in My ballet only if you devote yourself fully unto it. Learn the unforced rhythms of My grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with Me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly. ”
Do you feel awkward and unprepared? Are you unsure what it means to move in rhythm with God’s timing? Do find that you are distracted and your mind is scattered? The LORD is calling you into His ballet but you must prepare now. When the curtain is drawn it will be too late. If you are unsure what to do or how to do it, take heart. You have a partner to lead and guide you. God’s Holy Spirit will show you the way and should you fall, He will pick you up. Don’t allow yourself to get frustrated. Learning is a process that takes time, energy and above all it takes focus. The days which are ahead are like none other in all of history. There is duplicity as they will be wonderful and yet terrible. This is most prominent for you will be subject to your readiness for what lies ahead.
Join me in a prayer of commitment and dedication.
“Father I declare and affirm before you today that I have chosen to join you in this dance. As such I choose to fix my eyes and my heart fully on you in this hour. Should I stray I ask that you pull me in by your grace and should I fall that in your mercy you will extend your hand unto me. I want to be ready when the curtain is drawn. I want to move gracefully in your timing. I ask for an increase in my faith in this hour that I may fulfill your perfect will in my life. Where I have been out of sync with your timing and your will, LORD, I ask for your forgiveness in the name of Jesus. I commit myself into your hands and into your will and service. In the name of Jesus I pray. AMEN.”
The dancers are in their places. The stage is set. The curtain is about to be drawn. Are you ready?

Thank you for further insight on the ballet. I got this in the spirit same time as you. I knew it meant/implied the inheritings of Holy Spirit’s winds/shifts/flows.
