The Spirit Speaketh Expressly
There is a dividing line that is now drawn; between those who want the voice and the leading of the Spirit, and those who are content with what they have. I was actually astonished recently, to find just how many times [21] the words ‘last days‘, ‘latter days’ and ‘latter times’, were written and mentioned in the Holy Scriptures. If there ever was a topic or concern that we should be focused on, it is what it says about this time, this day.
We miss some words; read right over them, and they do not reach out to impact our lives, until we are ready to receive it. One of the most intense and debilitating forces at work today, is to convince many of us, that we are isolated, and alone in this quest for real leadership from the Spirit. The airwaves around us have literally been saturated with an intense oppression, that says, there is no God. There is no power, in having only a form of what we once had or of what we were intended to have. Substitution, only fails.
Tell me what the Holy Ghost is saying. I want to hear it and see it confirmed among others who say they have it. “But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and also being deceived.” 2 Timothy 3:13. If perilous or dangerous times are here, then we need to ask, why would anyone not be doing everything in their power, to follow after the Spirit. Another writer went on to say, “Let no man deceive you, by any means,” 2 Thessalonians 2:3. Full stop! That means what it says. It doesn’t matter who they are, what their claimed position or authority is or who gave it to them. Don’t let anybody do it; no one.
If the Spirit spoke to those people expressly, then He can certainly speak expressly today to us; and He is. The problem for too many, is that they think He can only speak to and through them. For sometime now, there has been this spirit creeping in that says, if we are going to make it, it will be by barely skimming by. So, He’s coming back for a worn-down, spiritually weak and basically powerless people. For those, who can do only what they are told, have no real discernment for themselves and can’t hear from the Spirit for themselves. Tribulation, is going to change all of that.
True revival, is going to put some people out of business. We are in a mess, and many children of God are getting very tired of not having what they were promised. Settling for less and being so unrighteously oppressed over using what the Spirit has given us, is no longer acceptable. The form, looks the same, and it appears like nothing’s different. That’s unless the Spirit, allows somebody to see what He sees. He desires today, to express Himself to us.
The Spirit does speak to other people, and sends them to speak to us. The Holy Ghost in us, knows if it’s the truth because it is so very well confirmed within our own spirit. We’ve been made to curtail the ministering to one another in the Spirit, by those who are afraid they can’t control it. That’s a great loss. However, we can hear from the Holy Spirit of God ourselves. Not allowing or encouraging the Spirit to speak expressly, to whomever He so desires and through He desires, is in reality, fighting against the Holy Ghost. Following Him closely, is our only hope of escape.
