The Son Of Man, The Passover Lamb Has Come!
A psalm to praise and sing to God, out loud.
The Son Of Man, The Passover Lamb Has Come!
Something greater than Jonah is here
Something greater than Solomon is here
A voice cries:
“In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord;
make straight in the desert a highway for our God.”
The Son of Man, the Passover Lamb has come!
A crown of thorns He wore for our sins
His Blood spilled for our redemption
His Body broken because He loved us so
Just as He had foretold!
The cross He carried, He carried for all
He died to self and served all
Oh Jesus, our Passover Lamb
We remember Him and what He sacrificed
The enemy thought he had won
But his arrogance and pride blinded him
For when Jesus said, “It is finished!”,
The enemy was defeated for all time!
For as Jonah was three days and three nights
In the belly of a huge fish,
So the Son of Man was three days and three nights
In the heart of the earth
He shook the pits of hell
His Authority stood supreme
He took the keys of Death and Hades
And holds them for all time
Oh the crown of thorns
Became a crown of jewels
The defeat of the enemy
Became our everlasting victory!
Something greater than Jonah is here
Something greater than Solomon is here
A voice cries:
“In the wilderness prepare the way of The LORD;
make straight in the desert a highway for our God.”
The Son of Man, the Passover Lamb has come!
The stone was rolled away from the tomb
Jesus rose in all His Glory
Never before then was a miracle seen
Like that on Resurrection morning!
The Lamb who wore a crown of thorns
Became a Lion who wore the Crown of Victory
Giving life to all who
Come to Him freely!
The bread we break
The wine we drink
We do it in remembrance
Of The Son of Man, the Passover Lamb!
Something greater than Jonah is here
Something greater than Solomon is here
A voice cries:
“In the wilderness prepare the way of The LORD;
make straight in the desert a highway for our God.”
The Son of Man, the Passover Lamb has come!
The Son of Man, the Passover Lamb has come!
Oh thank you Jesus, we remember what You have done!

“When they came together in Galilee, he said to them, “The Son of Man is going to be delivered into the hands of men. They will kill him, and on the third day he will be raised to life.” And the disciples were filled with grief.” Matthew 17:22-23
“For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of a huge fish, so the Son of Man will be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now something greater than Jonah is here. The Queen of the South will rise at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for she came from the ends of the earth to listen to Solomon’s wisdom, and now something greater than Solomon is here.” Matthew 12:40-42
“A voice cries: “In the wilderness prepare the way of the Lord; make straight in the desert a highway for our God.”” Isaiah 40:3
“While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”” Matthew 26:26-29
“And the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades.” Revelation 1:18
“He is not here, for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay.” Matthew 26:6
“The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!” John 1:29
