The Secrets, of Samson’s Strength & Weakness
One day the Lord asked me a question, which I thought was simple and had a ready answer for: “WHAT IS THE SECRET OF SAMSON’S STRENGTH?” ‘His hair,’ I answered, then He asked AND WHAT IS THE SECRET OF HIS WEAKNESS?” “Women,’ I responded…
I thought I knew it, but surprisingly I heard, “HIS HAIR WAS HIS WEAKNESS.”
That sounded strange to me, because we were taught theologically, that Samson’s weakness was women. I was on a journey to discovering the Word of God for myself!
Many people are too fast to judge people based on their mistakes. They crucify some HEROES, as God identified them to be in the Book of Hebrews. Samson was one of the Heroes of the Bible!
Many talk about Samson and Delilah and have preached powerful sermons from there. Wow! But how many have talked about SAMSON & THE LION?
Let me digress a little…
People preach about DOUBTING THOMAS, but scarcely know of the Church Thomas founded in Karala, India, called MAR THOMA., The church of Thomas. This church was birthed in the power and demonstration of the Holy Spirit: during the great dispersion. Thomas had moved to a land in Asia called India, and closely watched this group of people worshipping what he thought to be the sun. They would fetch water and throw it into the air and bow to it then exclaimed can any God do that? Do what Thomas asked? They were not worshipping the water nor the sun but the SPARKS of rays of the sun reflection on the water. Thomas went close to them and challenged them saying, “MY GOD CAN DO SOMETHING GREATER THAN THAT! HIS NAME IS JESUS CHRIST! MY GOD CAN SUSPEND THAT WATER IN MID AIR!”
A simple prayer was made, “LORD JESUS, I JUST TOLD THEM THAT YOU CAN SUSPEND THIS WATER IN MID AIR, AS I THROW IT UP FATHER IN THE NAME OF JESUS, SUSPENDED THIS WATER IN MID AIR” and so it was. Thousands of these heathen Indians turned their hearts to Jesus! Just this Act of Faith of Thomas, is enough to wipe his singular doubt. Watch it.
Now back to Samson. The Lord told me “THE SECRET OF SAMSON’S WEAKNESS WAS NOT WOMEN, BUT THE SECRET OF HIS STRENGTH.”
Remember the instruction given to his mother? “HIS HAIR MUST NEVER BE CUT”
Samson grew to know that the day his hair is ever CUT, he will be as WEAK as any other man. His weakness was his strength, turned inside out!
Why did Samson fall into the den of a prostitute? He had a terrible situation at hand that left him emotionally broken down. His father-in-law and his wide were burned alive, his people rejected him, and handed him over to the enemies. He had no where else to turn to for comfort.
In his wanderings, he found the lap of Delilah on which to lay his head. In laying his head, he revealed the secret of his strength, and then the secret of his weakness, “MY HAIR HAS NEVER BEEN CUT BEFORE… IF IT IS CUT, I SHALL BE AS WEAK AS ANY OTHER MAN.”
Two secrets he revealed in one day .. “THE SECRET OF HIS STRENGTH & WEAKNESS”
What therefore, is the secret of your SPIRITUAL STRENGTH?
Have you found out yet? The opposite is the secret of your weakness!
SIDE BY SIDE THE STRENGTH OF A MAN LIES HIS WEAKNESS.

Dear Pastor
Indeed I hear what you are saying here. Thank you.
Dear Pastor in the year 2000 I received a book for free from the USA. In fact I received ten books which I distributed and looking for more. The book was called “Secrets of His Kingdom” is this the correct web site?
Blessings
Dear Linda,
Thanks for your comment and question, but that book is not associated with this website.
Blessings in Christ,
