The Secret to Knowing God’s Presence in Your Life
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1
The “shadow” is God’s presence; for we know He casts no shadow (as we understand it carnaly).
The secret to knowing God’s presence in your life, is to learn to how continuously dwell with/in Him. And that begins in The Secret Place (your prayer life).
Years ago, The LORD spoke to me while I was at a Church Service and He said, “Because My Children do not spend quality time with Me, they do not know My Voice — nor My True Presence.
Therefore, they associate Me with mere emotion and sensation.”
He said this while I sat in the midst of a Church Service, where people were running, crying, laid out on the floor, jumping, and shouting.
The LORD muted my ears and asked, “Do you feel My Presence?”
And after pausing, my answer was, ‘No’.
The presence of God is not defined by a location nor emotion. If you are the “Temple of God” as the Apostle Paul reminded us (1 Corinthians 3:16), then The Spirit of The LORD (His Presence, Power, and Anointing) resides in you.
However, if you don’t have an established relationship with the Lover of your soul, then you will find yourself flocking to places and being tossed to and fro, to only come up empty.
In the end, if all you are subconsciously searching for is “a feeling” (which is temporary), without a true change from within, then all you’re doing is getting high, and eventually that “high” will dissipate, and you will still be left voided.
Stop being a spiritual junkie (craving signs) and learn to carry the presence of God within you.
This and only this will bring forth change. All else are vanities.

Mena I think some Christians seek a fix to get that high feeling all the time.
MAYBE THEY HAD IT WHEN FIRST SAVED AND THEY THINK IT IS CONTNUAL.
PRASE THE I AM.
Amen…and good food it is.
Amen.
Powerful truth. When we seek only a feeling or sensation, we are not mature! God desires us to grow, and grow up! We must choose Him and seek after Him! He desires this. He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him! Thank you for sharing.
Mena, Thank you for sharing this!
