The Third Heaven:
What and where are they?
The Second Heaven is where Satan dwells, where Satan’s throne is. It is the rulership and domain of the devil.
The second heaven is both spacial and spiritual.
Spacially, it is “the heavenly places”, “high places” — various places in space.
Spiritually, it is the world of sin. It is the dominion of trespasses and sins, according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air (Satan), the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience.
The second heaven incites the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, going by earthly, sensual, demonic wisdom.
“And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others,” Ephesians 2:1-3.
“But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic,” James 3:14-15.
Just like the church in Pergamos (Revelation 2:12-17), much of The Church today dwells in the second heaven, spiritually. Deceiving and being deceived, they hold “the doctrine of Balaam”, “the doctrine of the Nicolaitans”.
They teach and believe and pursue doctrines of demons and join themselves in halotry to the world. Spiritually, this is what it means “to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.”
They LARGELY live “according to the commandments and doctrines of men,” (Colossians 2:22),
the way of the world, the wisdom of the world. Thus they are plundered “…through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, AND NOT ACCORDING TO CHRIST.” (Colossians 2:8).
Our LORD Jesus says, “And in vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men,” (Matthew 15:9).
The Third Heaven is where God dwells; It is The Divine Country of continual marvel, fullness of joy and holy pleasures evermore.
Heaven is God’s Throne (Isaiah 66:1; Matthew 5:34). It is The Realm of The Spirit, accessible ONLY by The Blood of Jesus (Hebrews 10:19-23).
“For through Him we… have access by One Spirit to the Father,” Ephesians 2:18.
To access The Third Heaven, you must walk in The Spirit.
“I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh,” Galatians 5:16.
How do you walk in The Spirit?
Study The Word of God and keep It by “walking in the fear of The LORD and in the comfort [help] of The Holy Spirit,” (Acts 9:31).
Seek and be led, guided by The Spirit. Walk according to the Spirit by pursuing the desires of The Holy Spirit, NOT the desires of the flesh.
Set your mind always on the things of The Holy Spirit (which are all in The Word of God).
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. (Please study Romans 8:1-14).
Be steadfast in The Faith. Hunger and thirst for righteousness. Be holiness-hungry. With faith we please God, with holiness we see The LORD (Hebrews 11:6; 12:14).
Pray without ceasing, totally depending on the utterance of The Holy Spirit.
“There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. 3 For what the law could not do in that it was weak through the flesh, God did by sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, on account of sin: He condemned sin in the flesh, 4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit. 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.
9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His. 10 And if Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
12 Therefore, brethren, we are debtors — not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. 13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. 14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God,” Romans 8:1-14.
