A Word of Encouragement which The LORD first gave me a while ago, but which He is emphasising today.

After feeling deflated yesterday, with all the election furore, this pops up.

Is God good — or is He GOOD?

Now this Morning, I see and hear the sound of myself splashing around in that river. It’s a fast-ish flowing river, and I’m in a pool at the base of a small six foot waterfall.

Its deep enough for swimming, even diving, and it’s not cold! In fact it’s a very comfortable cool temperature.

I’m just enjoying being there — I’m actually quite a good swimmer so I’m really enjoying the freedom and relaxation. It’s even a nice warm summer day.

Eventually, The LORD asks me, “Enjoying it?”

I can hear and feel the love in His voice as He speaks. “Yes thank you LORD!” I reply. “Why am I having the pleasure of this please? I’m not complaining I’m thoroughly enjoying it . I’m grateful and just wondering what I’ve done to deserve it?”

The LORD chuckled. “This is The River of Refreshing!

You have asked me for two things today.

First you said you’ve lost your song and could I give it to you once again.

Then you asked for healing for various people — both you and Linda prayed for that.

Well, this is my answer- plus a little extra!

I’m renewing your SONG! I’m completing HEALING! And I’m adding to your ANOINTING!”

Then He added, “I’m not just doing this for you! No, no, no!

There are many who have lost their song in these last few years — I AM renewing their song once again.

There are many also who have been damaged by sickness of various kinds — I AM bringing their healing. Not partial — but total healing!

And there are many who have kept seeking me throughout these past years of trouble and strife — I AM bringing them a new mantle of anointing to equip them for the days to come.

Those who have persevered; those who have held fast to their faith;

those who have interceded for others throughout the troubles —

these will I promote,

these will I prosper,

these are they upon whom My favour shall rest!” says The LORD.

“Be encouraged, be of great courage, for I AM with you!” saith The LORD.
