The River Flows
We need to be like a River that is ever-flowing.
Many years ago I used to sit by the River that flowed by my small town in Kansas. I sat there and let my thoughts flow just like the currents that swept over the branches and debris.
The River doesn’t stop flowing just because a branch or a rock is there. Over the years, the edges of the bank gets washed away, and some of the roots of the trees become exposed.
We allow so many things in this life to affect us and divert us from our journey. The obstacles that are in front of us can either stop us, or we can simply keep flowing and following our course that is set.
Many Rivers eventually flow into the deep ocean and there they become a part of it. Our lives should be like those Rivers that are ever-flowing, moving unobstructed in our journey to the great ocean.
This great ocean, like God Himself, will then welcome us as we become a part of it, finding our mission that travels beside caverns and hills.
We see great redwoods and oaks along our journeys. We flow through reeds and grasses, and even through various towns and cities.
Don’t allow the rocks and branches in this life to prevent you from flowing with the current of God.
Keep moving, following your course that is set, moving unencumbered to the sea.

Stephen Hanson of In His Truth Ministries came to The LORD is a special way in 1975 and has prophesied regularly since. In these end-time birthing pangs we are reminded that judgment must first begin with the household of God. Will we be prepared and ready?
Like poetry, this message is simple and yet profound!! Thank you for blessing us with this!!
Thank you for this wonderful and simple message. Awhile back, before I was born again, I felt that water flow. One morning I woke up and had this revelation: I was like a fish and I heard a call ( the voice of the LORD’s) calling me home. Then and there I knew there was more to this life than the rocks and branches that come and go in the river.
This is a simple message but oftentimes when we encounter the rocks and branches we sometimes forget to flow with God’s current. Thank you brother Stephen for this reminder to stay the course/ journey to the great ocean, our LORD.
